Harley Vicla Pro Glow Light Setup - A good winter time project if you like to light up your ride!

- While my 2014 @harleydavidson Heritage Softail Classic is apart it gave me the chance to finally install my full @customdynamics Pro Glow LED light kit. I now have LEDs surrounding the headlight and passing lamps, and will soon add their wheel light to the setup. All of this can be done by building your own setup at their site www.customdynamics.com. It just gets better and better. Can't wait to see it up close at bike week.
For the front and rear fender. Lexan strip bent 90 degrees. 3m double sided body tape to inner fender. Also use on back of lights. Make sure lexan L bracket will clear tire on both sides. End result, lights will face down to light up the rims. Electric motor spray cleaner is best ive found to prep surface. Heat gun pass over double sided tape, once applied to lexan will greatly improve stickiness.

Hell yeah brother I’m putting that kit on my road glide because I’m the local Santa Claus here in Tracy and Mrs Claus and I are going ride around town with Candy Canes this coming December and its going to be bad ass

I'm kinda jealous. I wish I had the know how to take apart my Harley and start doing my own mods. Adding skull mirrors and a skull gas cap was the extent of my ability XD
If I can do it anyone can. I have zero training, I just couldn't afford to pay someone to do it when I was starting out, now I love to do as much as I can (or want to). Jut push yourself a little every time and you'll figure it out. Imagine this, when I started working on my own bikes 20+ years ago there wasn't RUclips like there is today!

Lookin good! When you get the lights tuned in to which color highlights the paint best it ought to be eye popping. Make plans to do a nighttime cruise of Main Street in Daytona and have somebody there to get video and be sure to capture crowd reaction to it.

As the light was scrolling from front to back over the engine cylinders, it was scrolling from back to front under the rear fender. You might want to flip that one around.
Bike looks good. The Christmas lights is a Florida thing. Didn't catch on in the state north of you.

Lots of little dress up pieces. I'd really like to do the Covington Panhead style rocker covers but that might be awhile.

Bike is awsome I like it. So I've thought about adding those lights. Your saying do 2 in the rear fender guessing 2 in front fender and would back bone need 2 also? My breakout has shorter fenders so I'd have to use shorties and I'm guessing place them just before the top radius that goes down on the side. Just trying to figure out if I need 5 or 6 lights and best placement in fenders.
I am running two under the frame, and 4 in the rear fender cause it's so long. I will add the front wheel "puck" when it get's here this week.

This bike is supposed to be over the top... and it has an off switch...
You get a round puck that connects to the inside of your brake caliper

Mr. Monkey do you need the pro glow headlight to make the LED strip lights work, Or do the strip lights work without the headlight. Or maybe it's all in one kit. Can you clarify this from my brain please
The strips are separate so you can do the kit with just the light strips.

Wouldn't the re, white, and blue headlights get you pulled over. I would think they would be illegal due to being law enforcement color of lights

You should teach cycle fanatix what a cholo build is on a harley....lol. at least send him a pic of yours....but what's he care he just gave the bike away anyway....good grief...lol
How can this be legal the front light looks like a cop.
It's a grey area legally - but usually police wont bother with lights unless individual is flashing them while actively driving. Having anything red/blue flashing while driving will for sure get you at least pulled over. -Depending on State - different states have different light colors reserved/restricted.
You just don't turn it on while rolling down the road...
