Is the 6-speed automatic transmission isolated from the other computer units and just reads the wheel speed sensors etc. or is it also communicate with the ECU? Can this be done on a 4.2L 1HZ engine?
It's always a pleasure to watch your construction videos. I'll have two lands cruisers built soon, one with a manual gearbox and the other with an automatic gearbox driven on the left side of the road because in Europe and Africa we drive on the left😊👍

No, haven’t heard of anyone doing that. They come with a 5 speed manual from factory.
Is this possible with the v6 Diesel ?
Yes you can convert the 1GR-FE 4.0L Petrol V6 Manual to 5 speed Auto
