Back in the early stages of the pacific war these p-38’s would dogfight with Japanese zero’s. They got absolutely massacred. There was literally a slang term in Japanese for p-38’s making fun of how easy it was to shoot them down But then the Yankees learned and the p-38 because the XP-50 of the Pacific, diving down from orbit to ruin everyone’s day 😂

The gunsight is so faint in this game makes me wonder if it was like that irl
I just have it set like this, I look a bit over the sight to be able to lead shots, so it's not as sharp as looking directly at it
