I don't understand this world view that if any nation is mismanaged, the answer is for the citizens to a) illegally invade another country and b) then demand free food, shelter and services unconditionally, for life.
It's because the people that create this world view are ones that benefit from it while the rest suffer. They just need to convince the majority of the rest of the suckers that it's the right thing, which they sadly has managed to do.
I asked my Grandmother about this when I was a child. And I still believe in what I thought then. If these countries cannot take care of their own, why are other countries always expected to pick up the slack for them? They have to take responsibility for their own at some point. Its always the same countries needing help and always the same countries expected to absorb the worlds problems.

It does sound crazy but it's understandable. I worked on US Merchant ships for years and was in almost every city on the African continent. One of the first things I noticed every time was the architecture and how you could tell approximately when the Europeans left by how decayed the buildings were.
