@@Paktofonika1989 You might be right. Even threatening to leave has no effect on the EU. Maybe get together with other countries and threaten to leave all together. Those unelected Marxists in Brussels have a very limited view of the world and compromise isn t in there.
I don’t think those other countries would be so keen on the Italian migration policy which basically is just sending their illegal migrants to other European countries for them to deal with. This has been the consistent Italian policy since 2 decades now. Btw: Le Pen is not ruling France, but Macron is.

I'm an American now living in Holland for roughly 18 years total, when Western Europe became the E.U. as we know it as of today, I was telling my father in law and many others that's you are making the boarders wide open for illegal Migration and it's going to turn out badly for Europe, he then replied it'll be all right, I then said lets give it 15 years and well see where we are then, well it's been a tad over 15 years and now we're exactly where we are that I thought we would be today, people here at the time thought I was crazy, now they think I wasn't so crazy, so to say who's laughing now. Once these migrants from Africa makes land then are trying get to the better off countries such as Holland, I will know this because I well do a little bit of volunteer work for a program that will cater to migrants, and most has been in Italy France, Greece and so on and the word is that these other countries were horrible for them, here in Holland where I am there is a center where there will be roughly 50 people that will be coming in every day, the building is very clean and warm, there will be computers, comfy seating, a small gym, a barber shop, a sewing room, showers, lockers and hot meals and so on. Sorry to say I will not disclose the location of this facility for fear that it will be over runed. Here in Holland we will also have lots and lots of Migrants from Eastern Europe as well, not really migrants because they are from some of the lessor E.U. member countries. When Yo! Yo! Merkle gave the green light for Migration, I said out loud to my wife, HERE WE GO! The flood gates are now open, the disaster is about to begin. I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the tube that many Germans were bending over back wards welcoming migrants with open arms and look where they are today, all I can say, I saw it coming. Think Europe has it bad the U.S. is even worse, Europe will have boat loads of people arriving to Europe, the U.S. will be seeing caravans of people arriving to the U.S. boarder by the thousands, bottom line the whole World is going down the rabbit hole, just my 2 cents worth.
Those Germans weren’t welcoming illegal migrants, they were welcoming refugees that were in dire need.

I can't post my honest opinion, but USA IS BECOMING A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY. Currently people have slept in Polica Stations, school gyms, cafeterias, in tents outside, and they have asked public right out if they have a spare room, or rental property. There's no place to put economic illigal migrants, crimes started the minute they arrived, in hotels drugs, drinking and women. Illigals are not happy with their food, some accommodation, and they complaining that USA needs to do better. In Europe, some countries are Collapsing from financial drain, most illegal migrants are uneducated or unemployable, and Muslims do need to pray 5 times a day. Crimes are up, murders, rapes. Countries like France, UK, Brits, are heading towards Ghetto looks, pretty soon we can start building mud huts to accommodate our guests. Americans started moving into Europe, that's going down fast. European Union is looking to destroy all of Europe, and they're succeeding. USA ALREADY HAS DESTROYED USA. Those that use to visit USA, commented that they couldn't wait to go back to Europe. I lived in Europe after WWII, we rebuild, struggled and rose up, I guess that's too much for European Union to watch Europe looking nice, so they want to make it Ghetto.
As an American citizen, you can thank our dilapidated walking corpse we got as a president

The big problem is Europeans politicians who used it to solve their aging population by pretending an open border for refugees without anticipating the mess it would bring to neighboring countries who have to deal with this migration.
Life in europe is expensive even for locals, there isn’t enough job for all those young men... we are facing inflation, recession and housing crisis.

Im English, I live England, UK. I came across this site by chance. I visited Ventimiglia, a couple of times ( from France ) some years ago. I enjoyed Ventimiglia, We are having immigration issues in UK.

So let me get this right? if the " poor refugees/criminals" come from Italy to France, the French police send them straight back as according to the law, the refugees/criminals must stay in the first safe country they arrive in???? So how come when the boat bedewins cross to the UK from France, The French won't take them back?
The first safe country would be in Africa or the Balkans, Caucasus, central Asia... Not in Europe. Literally everyone pushes them back. Germany at the Swiss border, Swiss and France at the Italian border, Poland in Belarusdia and so forth. It's normal.

They have all smartphones. They can learn a language like french, german,… in their country. Then they can apply for a job in europe. When they found a job, they can move legal to europe.
That‘s how we european have to fight for a job too. If i want to work and live in USA or switzerland, i have to do the same procedure.
Undocumented foreign nationals should not assume an automatic right to enter Europe in any circumstances - they need to go through proper channels with the correct paperwork, otherwise they have no right to arrive in Europe.
I know about this very well because I take this train one at month to buy food in Ventimiglia.
The French are a really funny bunch. They close the doors to all migrants, but they wild open it to let them cross to the UK. 🥴
Swiss police comb the trains in Chiasso too. There, they profile anyone who looks like an immigrant. Since we are a mixed group of expats (Americans, British, Canadian) we'll just start talking, and they always skip us when they hear our accents. When you think about it, it's really sad...
It's funny how they also showed flixbus because almost all police at the borders comb the buses. At the borders between Germany/Netherlands and Germany/Denmark. Those are the 2 common routes where my bus is always stopped.
Mind you, German police also filter trains and busses arriving from Switzerland, so if they don't push them back at the Italian border they'll be pushed back at the German border and end up stuck in Switzerland (my country). No thanks. We have enough EU immigrants already, we can't rescue the whole world. Esp not culturally dissimilar, uneducated Randoms. Enough is enough.

How is the French ultimately giving them free passage? Aren't they currently and having been for a while now pushing them back at Menton, which is a major point of entry into France since many have entered European soil through Italy. The French are suffering with this crisis too, as is Italy. The people in Calais France are no more happy with what their city has become as migrants want to enter Britain just as Ventimiglia Italy is unhappy with migrants that want to go to France and beyond. It seems to me that during this crisis, the only way each country needs to stop the influx is that each country protects its own borders and towns, if anything, as a second layer of protection, because there is going to be leaks in more southern and eastern entry points.

So, leaving all this populist slogans aside, we either deal with the problem on our land or at its origin.
