An inside look at France's forced repatriation process

- France is now receiving more asylum applications than any other EU country. Last year saw some 133,000 requests, up 7.3 percent on the previous year. Also on the rise are cases of forced repatriation: foreigners whose applications have failed and who are deported back to their home country. It's an expensive and time-consuming process fraught with legal, humanitarian and logistical concerns. Our colleagues Hakim Abdelkhalek, Philippe Maire and Delphine Chevalier from France 2 were given rare permission to film an example of forced repatriation.

Most of them were not "allowed". Most of the deportees have come over through migrant routes via illegal crossings via boat, foot, trucks. Some of the migrants stay in France, others will travel to Spain or even into England. As far as people from South America coming over to France; They fly to a close country and then migrate in like the rest.
Yes
It seems like France doesn't have a good system of pre-inspection of flights heading destined for France. In the US, they require the airlines destined for them to report all people who do not present a valid round trip ticket for their travel, before boarding them. And then CBP advises that airline whether people with one ways can or cannot be boarded in the country they are originating from.
Fair enough. Don't try to enter countries illegally. Most voters support a robust deportation policy.
Politicians are following orders from the World Elitists who view everyone beneath them in power, and wealth as a cancer on the planet and they are the "cure". They have banded together to fragment the population of western countries using top politicians to implement divisive policies, and smother with undesirables to illegally enter the country and destroy the infrastructure through shear numbers and lawlessness.

Undesirable aggressive beggars everywhere. Nice used to be stunning it still is but has really declined. So sad to be fair UK is also in free fall décline too.
My thoughts too.
I went to Paris in 2012 the first thing happened straight off the Eurostar is the gypsies trying to scam and rob me while buying metro tickets. 10 min later on the Metro we passed a stop where two naked Romani were having sex on the platform. Constantly having my hands on my belongings, navigating between pickpockets and the African scammers. On top of it the locals were arrogant and rude. I haven’t heard anything better since then.
US is in free fall too.. Illegals in New York are going from house to house begging for anything they can get.. Wherever they squat, they leave mounds of trash behind.. Quran, Surat muhammad chapter 47,verse 4.
So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost,

So be not weak and ask not for peace (from the enemies of Islam), while you are having the upper hand. Allah is with you, and will never decrease the reward of your good deeds.

@@usmaansiddiqi779 from your name and only I can understand ..the level of your stupidity that you carrying into your stupid head.
@@usmaansiddiqi779 You’re right except for:Greek culture , Italian culture ,German culture all theMiddle andEast European cultures, can’t name them all,too many, then there’s my patch;Scots, Irish ,Welsh and English cultures (with apologies to those I have left out ) apart from that lot and those of course as I say unnamed for lack of space/time I guess you must be right about “Europe having no culture”!?
If they refuse to behave put them in the hold rather than the cabin. If I’d paid for a flight I wouldn’t want to be sitting on a plane close to a disruptive person who was being deported, especially when they had no right to be in the country in the first place. My guess is most are running away from serious criminal charges in their own country and they are actually on the run. Either way, you don’t want people like that in your country.
Spot on with the reason for leaving their country.
I think the flights are specifically used to deport people. No civilians on board.
Um...I understand your sentiment, but most airplane holds are unpressurized, meaning that they'd die.
They are already in a tough situation they are already being sent home against their will screaming and kicking lol ke an animal you do not have to make up stories about them to justify however you feel

I know it sounds harsh but we need to do this in the United States too. If you do not have the legal right to be here you ARE BREAKING THE LAW. If you break the law what’s to say you won’t continue to break the law? My Mother and I came to the US on UN Refugee Status legally. We waited and waited and our request was granted. We pay our taxes, contribute to our country and follow the laws. It’s not always easy but you’ve got to respect the laws of a country and don’t think for one minute your “crisis” is more important than anyone else’s.
The main problem is that the countries where most migrants come from do not cooperate. Plus it is up to the pilot to accept a passenger who's shouting like crazy or not, he has the last say. There are the Frontex flights where they charter a machine just to bring back illegals but still their country of origin has to accept them. Eritrea and Gambia flst out refuse, Nigeria, Iraq and Afghanistan only take the ones who agree to leave. Recently an Afghan migrant was returned from Afghanistan to Austria for the second time and now courts granted him a "temporaty" stay. After being illegally in Austria for years and having racked up multiple convictions. Go figure...
Military flights, parachutes, boom!
Sounds like the US
Remove all aid and trade
The deportation fee isn't really big compared to what damage not deporting them would have.
133,000 requests last YEAR?!? The U.S. had over 270,000 just in December.
You go, France! Congrats on coming to your senses.
When the pub is closing they say "you don't have to go home but you can't stay here" 🇨🇵
Nice love from India
Macron is tough on 1 thing. His threat to not deliver Visas for countries that refuse to take back their citizens and it worked. If America wants respect. It should be tough love on people who overstay and illegally enter.
The Biden US wont do that!
America NEEDs its illegal immigrants, is responsible for the condition of their home country (South American ones in particukar) & has to justify its bloated border control personnel as that is another social welfare program for poor whites.
There will be no actual solutions as the powers that be have no real incentive to do that. They benefit from the locals hating the immigrants, who then as completely disenfranchised people become perfect pickings for exploitation.
If you're really against illegal immigration then be mad at government not at the poor souls who are hoping out of the frying pan into the fire. Your ignorance and their misery only stands to benefit the elites.
@Pepe Lepew there is no mess, the mess left 2 months ago
@j ancel yeah that's what telerson said
Or should I say that's what his staff called him 🤔😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Too many people are coming to western nations from nations that are not willing to change their fathers homelands failures of culture. I am for repratriation of such people not only in France but the whole western world
About time!
I won’t leave? There is the door dog, GTFO
Hmmm says a white man on Indigenous soil.
@@MegaCassie83 He's french... they were there from the start. Your blind hate for colonialism has led you to accuse French natives of colonization of their own land, how ironic.
It's worth the cost because it would cost more to let them stay. Why should someone from another country be given accommodation, money and a job while many French citizens have no money or are homeless?! French citizens should always have priority over economic migrants!!!
Absolutely right!!! Please tell that to our open border loving Joe Biden!
That goes for Every sovereign Nation.
@@PALM311 Joe Biden does not support open borders. if he wanted to he could fully open America's borders, but you will not see that happen because he doesn't support that
French people doesnt make enough babies like immigrants do. Europe is dying off. Check for yourself, rate of population decline is 2 million people anually.
@@Helloverlord Unfortunately, that's a cold hard fact. White people prefer better jobs and more money over starting a family. The white French people will become a minority by 2057 unless people act fast or more controls are put into place to stop migrants, a bit like what Isreal does to ensure the majority population is Jewish. Will white people receive extra government help when they become the minority? I don't think so.
$14,000 is STILL way LESS than the amount of money that would be spent on him in one year! Plus the turmoil, assaults
on citizens, the disruption in ppl's everyday lives! Repatriation should continue and even escalate. Even more so for
families. Don't leave members behind to continue to be a burden in France society! They have no appreciation for
France's laws, rules, ways of living and should be happy to leave & return to a place that suits their expectations better.
It’s the asylum laws. They need to change or be done away with altogether. Humanitarian groups should not tell countries how to run their country.
Hey France keep doing that or whatever you need to do, you have a long way to go .. good luck!!
We should do this, but then we should also employ aircraft with trained crews that are designed for this very unpleasant chore. When I say that, I mean airplanes that are equipped to haul prisoners the way we trick out prison buses. If someone objects to being flown, we should be allowed to sedate him or her for the trip to his or her place of origin.
On flights from the U.S., both international and domestic, on occasion there’s an Air Marshal on a plane, wearing civilian clothing, looking like your average passenger, if they know there’s a criminal or terrorist on board, but unfortunately they don’t have similar on other international airlines departing from and to other countries 😕
We need ships and military cargo planes to deport en masse and no legal process to slow things down non citizens should have limited rights.
Totally agree
Such a shame it has to happen to people like this but if they are illegal or break the law it's the right thing to do.
I visited Paris in 2022. I was shocked...I had unfortunately romanticized the city. The architecture is stunning, my dinner on the Seine was fantastic, but it made NYC seem tame and i moved from NYC in 2005. I'd go back to France but perhaps try to find a smaller, quieter lovely town for my stay.
We must adopt this policy in the UK.
13000 Euros per deportee!!! This is why strong borders solve problems!
when they stay its at least 45k a year for each of them. (have to provide them money, health care, education, free housing ...)
Man this is a dream... You can t control any border... There is always a way.
And what do you want, close the border with Andorra, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain and Switzerland?
France needs to scale this up times a 1000
The only thing I can think about with this stuff is simply you shouldn’t have entered a country that you have no right to be in
