    A true artist. So many tinters now rely only on the plotter and the top edge is pre cut etc. So with window shapes not being the same, u have the hideous top line showing of bare glass some times. It amazes me of how many tinters have no clue what filing the edge is on window tint film.

    Unrelated to this specific video but quick question guys. I literally just got my front windshield tinted at 35% ceramic earlier today and realized I want it darker (I want to do 20% ceramic instead). My tint guy said removing the tint would be a mess with all the glue (at least with it being the same day since the tint had no time to cure) so he suggested he put over another 35% tint to create that darker effect. Would you guys ever recommended double tinting or should I just get it removed next week and replaced with the 20% tint?
    Thank you guys (I appreciate this channel).

    • @ericvagman5912
      @ericvagman5912 3 года назад +1

      Double layer windshield tint isn’t a big deal, it can be done easily. But 2 layers of 35% is approximately 12%, which is very dark for the windshield. For reference, 2 layers of 20% is about 4%-5%.

      @@WindowTintWarriors theres no need to? The film will sit right at the edge of the rubber seal and will fail very fast unless it is tucked under. That's why all plotter patterns go under the rubber seal

      @@JackShootsFr yeah i hear you. Just weird that every hand cutting guide i have seen says do it 1 way and this dude who uses a plotter everyday is saying it's not needed. Common sense should tell him that if the film is cut to the rubber, eventually that rubber is gonna catch it and make it peel.
