Hey bro nice video, really good explanation. Could you answer me a question? Do I need to apply on the brake pad both Force and pressure? One of each is not enough? Thanks!
@@Cadknowledge I calculated both Hydraulic Pressure and Hydraulic Force made by the brake pads. If I apply both I wont be applying double loads? Pls help me understand that, will appreciate a lot!
@@Cadknowledge Okay. I fixed the disk brake on the screw holes, applied force only on the internal brake pad since its a floating caliper. External brake pad is fixed while the internal is only contacting the disk brake. Dont know if this helps
@@theochoisnet7257 hey, i don’t know if you still remember after 4 years, but how did you fix it? I’m trying to get a positive temperature and it’s giving me negative temp. Thanks
@@karanpunjabi3077 hey, i don’t know if you still remember after 2 years, but how did you fix it? I’m trying to get a positive temperature and it’s giving me negative temp. Thanks
Théo CHOISNET initially velocity is 22m/s we know v = ( 3.14* diameter*rpm)/60 From this equation you can calculate rpm there is another video of stress strain calculations on my channel u can watch it will be useful for u
take it as 28.32 inch but i advice do your own calculation for the best result ruclips.net/video/5R8-5vUQbWQ/видео.html here is the video i am talking about
can you tell how can i select only the brake pad portion for applying forces? do i have to draw the brake pad portion? if possible can you send me the file?
the link of the cad file is in the video description and here is a video tutorial watch this it will be helpful to u ruclips.net/video/ZU5sNsDkWPE/видео.html . if u like my video plz like, subscribe and share . thank you for watching
Hello sir. I too am working on disc brakes thermal analysis. Please tell how should i work on it. What calculations should I do and how to proceed with it.

Both are necessary in my case. One of each can be enough if you have some other kind of design

@@AlligatoriRO we need to talk about it I can't say anything. I must need to know all the boundary conditions

What's the point of applying break if your disk break is fixed?
Sir, can you explain how to get 6660 watt on heat power
Nice video bro, but I don't understand 1 000 000 N/m2; 497N is what, pls help me
how is the temperature 100 kelvin? in the result of thermal analysis?
i want to know why too

Sorry to let you down but i don't remember it. Infact I don't do simulations anymore.
Plz can you tell what’s the rotation speed of the wheel?

U can draw a brake pad profile on the disk rotar and then use split command to obtain a seperate brake pad portion
Hello sir. I too am working on disc brakes thermal analysis. Please tell how should i work on it. What calculations should I do and how to proceed with it.
First make list
1. What is ur brake load capacity
2 .how much load you are applying
3. Break material etc
@@Cadknowledge I am considering for a car, m testing for 4 pre defined materials in solidworks.
I recommend you design table for better results
@@Cadknowledge Table?
@@Cadknowledge Whats the brake load capacity, the point 1 that you said?
Hi, Can I have the formula or any paper related to this project?
sur .please give me theoirical parts of this analysis
Can anyone he.p me how to get split line . I have made brake pad and assembly to my disc but I'm not able to get that split line

Does high resultant heat flux means high temperature distribution on the disc ?
Please someone help me.....
yes but the distribution of heat in not uniform through out the disc it will be high and low at some place
plz give me the model image with dimension
