    Hi sir,
    Can you explain why you choose the temperature is 80°C?
    Thank you so much.

    Good video. However i would have loved that you add video of what is happening on the brake disc also.

    I'm not sure if the fixed support is suitable for the thermal expansion of the selected face. I will opt for the remote displacement (Fixed all Dofs) with Deformable behavior

    Sir, why have you applied the pressure only on one side in the static structural case?

    • @TechnoMechEducation
      @TechnoMechEducation  3 года назад +1

      That’s a mistake.. you should apply both side of the plate.

    Sir, Why did you only apply the temperature to one side of the rotor? I believe the temperature at either side should be the same?

    • @TechnoMechEducation
      @TechnoMechEducation  Год назад +1

      Yea… should apply on the both sides. That was a mistakes… seen after uploading it

    Very nice video sir! But, i am confused which analysis to choose for a component like the same problem solved by other guides in static analysis. Will you please tell how to choose analysis type?

    • @TechnoMechEducation
      @TechnoMechEducation  4 года назад +1

      Thank You.

    • @TechnoMechEducation
      @TechnoMechEducation  4 года назад +1

      First you should clear Which analysis is required only structural or Thermal, or both you need to do

    • @TechnoMechEducation
      @TechnoMechEducation  4 года назад

      If you want to find stress & deformations etc due to Forces then Static structural Analysis is required to choose. And if you want to find thermal flux, temperature distributions then you should select Thermal Analysis.

    What procedure to follow in case i need the thermal and structural analysis by the friction between two disc rotating in opp direction and rubbing against each other

    • @TechnoMechEducation
      @TechnoMechEducation  5 месяцев назад

      You need to perform coupled thermal & structural analysis

      Actually the model diagram has created in Modeling software PRO E. and imported here in ANSYS

    • @TechnoMechEducation

      Yes we can add number of materials. Go to Engineering data and add multiple materials according to ur requirement as the video shows in starting. Then after importing geometry Select ‘ASSIGNMENT ‘ and select ur material accordingly
