Impressive!! It's all in the tooling and the efficient workflow! Good job sir! Anyone who can make a nice looking hammer in one heat, while making it look smooth and effortless is definitely skilled!!
Excellent work and love to see the Spring hammers in action, that looks like a big Ajax. can you tell me how many hits per minute that one will hit and what size is the ram? Im in the process of getting a 100KG Prako hammer and in Canada cant find any helpful information.
ajax 3 will do around 175 hits per minute, ram weighs 100 kg. If it is ajax 2, it will do around 220 hits per minute and ram weighs 70 kg. But it looks it is ajax 3. Can i ask you, why in Canada is so many power hammers from Czechoslovakia?
@@bonumferrum4055 I live in canada and only know of two Czech hammer in Canada. Certai my I don't know who has what but have a pretty good ear to the ground for powerhammers here and I grabbed both of them. I don't know why they are not more common here like in European. They are almost indesteu table, easy to maintain, hit like a monster and extremely controllable. I love federhammers, Ajax and prakos. I think rovtars is the asan #3 150kg. I have the number 2 Ajax and a 110kg Prako.
Hate spell check!!!!! There aren't many of these hammers in Canada for sure, it's a shame because they are amazing hammers. I've had littlegiants, beaudrys, sahinler and I just personally like the federhammers the most
@@alanwortman4439 didn’t think it would last that long. I’m an experienced smith and my steel doesn’t last that long. I’ve even burned some steel trying to soak it in the fire. Must be the environment cooling it down quicker
I bought a rounding hammer from you about 2 years ago and its a nice hammer. Use it every day.
Nice work man! Sure one of the best "one heat hammer" I' ve seen on YT.
Thanks for sharing !!

Wow, that's really effective. You can really make a living doing this!
I received a kindling hatchet and hammer set you forged as a present from a friend. I love your work. I plan to beg you for a knife soon.
Such precision and efficiency. A true master

And then there's me, 3 hours of work for only a knife tang...
Don't worry, I was there too. And my first hammer took a whole day to make.
That powerhammer is ajax 3 - 4-5 or 6?
Just ordered one of these 3 lb hammers can't wait for it.
I’m really keen to purchase one of your hammers. Great work. Saw them on ebay, photos look fantastic.
Check my etsy store, those are directly from me
Great thanks.
This was most impressive
Hammer machines which is there in this video need information about that hammer machine and need that machine and its history
How hasn’t the metal cooled down quicker than it did in the video. With?
Iron has a very high specific heat. With a good soak in the forge you can keep it glowy for a while. Also, he worked really fast here.
