I haven’t been in the habit, lately, of sharing originals on the internet, but am gearing up to record a full-length album, and perhaps this one. A simple song inspired by a beautiful love and a place that I’ve visited nearly every year for the past fifteen. My soul tends to breathe better there.

I have two driftless tours in the works. Where in Decorah? I'll be in the area in mid July as well as early November.
@@KelleySmithMusic Thanks for the response! That's amazing. I tried several times to respond with some links to resources, but RUclips doesn't seem to be allowing them. But here are some venue recommendations if you want to look into them.
For intimate/mid-size venues, I'd suggest:
Pulpit Rock Brewing Co.
Lingonberry/Jubilee
Impact Coffee
Luna Valley Farm would be an unbelievably wonderful venue for an outdoor set.
And if you needed a bigger space, Luther College may be a good venue, for indoor or outdoor.
Slapdash Bluegrass is a fun local folk/bluegrass group that could be interested in partnering. That could be a very synergistic show. They have some good videos up on RUclips, especially through Turkey River Cabin Concerts.

So glad to see you'll be at the July campout at Cabin Concerts near Elkader. Since you'll be so close, maybe you can work in a Decorah show sometime after that!! 🙂 (or in November when you'll be in the area again...)
