  • I have an LG Waveforce washer that had an issues where the water would run throughout the entire cycle. Did some research, found out the inlet valve needed to be replaced. A repair that could easily cost hundreds of dollars or more. Following these easy steps in the video, and doing it yourself will save you a TON!

We had the same piece changed on our brand new LG washer a couple years ago. But since then, the water level is always too low and we have to stay close to the machine, stop it, press the water plus button for a second time (we always press it when we put the load in).
But if the load is really heavy, it works fine. Does it have to do with another part, like the sensor for the weight ?
Thanks for your interesting video 😊

Hello, my LG washer ran water throughout all cycles. So I watched your video, bought and replaced the water inlet valve.
Hooked hoses to the hot & cold. Plugged washer in. As soon as I turned the water on, it started pouring into the machine without the power even on. What do u think is happening? Has the computer module gone bad.

Hi Edward, thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. I'm not at a washer expert or certified repair man. I would first go back to make sure all the plugs were securely plugged in, and in the right spot. Then I'd probably do a little research with that problem and see if someone else has had the same problem and found a solution for it. I'm sorry you're having that problem now and you weren't before. Best of luck though.

@@35jspeed It was running water constantly when I got it. The original owner sold it to me for $50, saying it only needed suspension rods. Not the case as it ran water. So per your video, I open the back of the washer, marked the plugs 1 2 3 4 5, and changed the water inlet valve. The problem has to be electrical or in the board. But I'll figure it out.
