Thanks buddy! When this happened to my wife’s washing machine, she was ready to run out and buy a new one for $900. I said hold on a second, I got an idea. Your video helped tremendously! Probably save me about 800 bucks thanks again!
You're a breath of fresh air. You don't talk too much you're not caught up in how you look and you deliver the information short and sweet and easy to understand. Thank you
I know this video is a few years old (and I don't have the exact washer), but thank you so much! $60 to repair myself on a washer that is only 5 years old.
Great video! I just ordered an inlet water valve from Amazon and will install it when it arrives. I appreciate how simple and easy you made it look. I am repairing my washing machine for less than $40. Thank you!!
thank you so much. it worked. just want to share one experience that I brought the defected inlet valve part and due to that, the water was leaking after installation. i was not sure what caused the water leak. and i purchased another inlet valve and installed it. it worked.
My mother has the same washer, and im glad i did some research. She already had in my to purchase a new one! I am currently ordering the part so i can get it fixed for her tomorrow! Much love from houston, thank you, bro!
Damn I’m having the same exact problem. Your video is the first one that popped up. This has to be it - when water starts it won’t stop during multiple stages of a wash. I have to manually turn off the hand valve to get it to stop - and when I open up the water valve it doesn’t fill. Will order this part thanks a million
Hi all, thanks so much for watching and commenting. Here is the link to the Amazon order: LG AJU75152601 Genuine OEM Water Inlet Valve Assembly for LG Washing Machines a.co/d/47qbQN1
This seems to be happening more frequently. But only when my husband washes clothes! 😂🤕Was wondering why it only happens with him! Anyway thanks and great job on the video!
We had the same piece changed on our brand new LG washer a couple years ago. But since then, the water level is always too low and we have to stay close to the machine, stop it, press the water plus button for a second time (we always press it when we put the load in). But if the load is really heavy, it works fine. Does it have to do with another part, like the sensor for the weight ? Thanks for your interesting video 😊
you are talking about the valves not shutting off. I thought you were going to explain why it fills with too much water. how to test the water level switch/sensor or whatever.
Hi, so sorry for the delayed reply, I’m rarely on this channel anymore. I didn’t know the inlet valve would fix it, or even to properly diagnose it, I just saw similar problems online and the valve kept coming up as a solution.
Hello good day sir please I have the same size of washer but when I installed it the water is not coming in the washer pls what could be the the problem or can you please show me how to do the setting
I'm hoping that you can help me. I looked at other videos but I don't see one that I need. I have a LG but my problem is that it is dripping inside the tub not onto the floor and then I can't figure out how to get it to drain. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks so much!
Hi, I’d be happy to try and help. I just want to follow what you’re saying. Are you saying it’s dripping on the floor or what do you mean by inside the tub?
Hi Jessica, thank you so much for watching. My best guest is one of the plugs in wrong slot or not in all the way. I wouldn’t know for sure, I never had that error.
It was a Waveforce, yes. And I believe it was from LG forums and videos I’ve watched. I didn’t know that would be the solution, but I was hopeful enough to do the video.
I have the same problem right now, it's good I saw it, if not, then my laundry room would be flooded. It's different LG washer, so the valve is probably different.
Thanks, buddy for the information.... That helped big time. Also what kind of video software did you use to put this great video together? Thanks again!

Man I sure do appreciate you taking your time and troubleshooting my problem. It save me a ton of money for cutting out the tech and was an easy fix. God bless you and thanks again 👍
If the water won't stop running, hot or cold, it could be an inlet valve like I replaced. There's no way to separate and replace just the hot or cold side. I hope that helps.
Hello, my LG washer ran water throughout all cycles. So I watched your video, bought and replaced the water inlet valve. Hooked hoses to the hot & cold. Plugged washer in. As soon as I turned the water on, it started pouring into the machine without the power even on. What do u think is happening? Has the computer module gone bad. Regards, Tony
Hi Edward, thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. I'm not at a washer expert or certified repair man. I would first go back to make sure all the plugs were securely plugged in, and in the right spot. Then I'd probably do a little research with that problem and see if someone else has had the same problem and found a solution for it. I'm sorry you're having that problem now and you weren't before. Best of luck though.
@@35jspeed It was running water constantly when I got it. The original owner sold it to me for $50, saying it only needed suspension rods. Not the case as it ran water. So per your video, I open the back of the washer, marked the plugs 1 2 3 4 5, and changed the water inlet valve. The problem has to be electrical or in the board. But I'll figure it out. Thanks for your video!!

How did you diagnose the faulty inlet valve?
This seemed to be a common answer when I looked online for people having similar issues with their washer. I took a chance.
Would the water run even when the whole washer was off ??
No, just consistently throughout the wash cycle.
Thanks for the video! 👍
Did yours leak too at spinning
The problem I had was the water was running for the entire cycle, rinse, spin, wash, the whole bit.

So what if just the cold water won’t stop running?
If the water won't stop running, hot or cold, it could be an inlet valve like I replaced. There's no way to separate and replace just the hot or cold side. I hope that helps.
