One of the best cooking videos made. Step-by-step with perfect instructions. Can't wait to try these cinnamon rolls. On the side, I didn't know they made oven doors that slide inside. Wish mine did.
Made these yesterday.they are amazing,as light and fluffy as described.I stewed some apples from garden and put some in the centre and only put a small amount of the icing on, but WOW ❤ also made your curry roasted whole chicken with coconut milk..( that’s a regular dish we have ) Thanks Nicky ..👍♥️
OMG stewed apples in the middle, that sounds next level amazing. The Roast Curry Chicken is a regular in our house too. So glad you're enjoying the recipes.
It’s these types of cinnamon rolls that gives off its very familiar smell which conjures up images of cold wintery mornings and nights. It’s that cinnamon smell that greets you to put a smile on your face 😊 🥮☕️ Nice
Thank you so much for sharing!!! This is got to be one of the best cinnamon roll recipes! And oòooooh they look so delicious 😊this video has really given me the confidence to try. So thank you again.❤
A hand mixer would work for the frosting, but not for the dough so much as it is a sticky dough... try mixing with a wooden spoon or such the old school way and build biceps ...on one arm at least...
Made this today. Omgosh, was divine, ate it warm 😊😋 definitely a family gathering, must have. Hubby said, "I haven't ever tasted anything like it. So that's a deffo, keeper. Xx
Stewed Apple works AMAZING in this as it cuts the sweetness of the sugar and cinnamon..… it’s a bit messy to cut and eat but WOW…I’m actually making it now.. 😍
I made these a few days ago and they were very good. Thank you! Can I make these overnight cinnamon rolls? If yes, do I simply put them in the fridge after cutting them up, then take them out in the morning and proof till they double in size?
That’s what I did last time.. I covered them to prevent odours from the fridge and then put them in a warm place as you would for the first prove and leave for half an hour ..then cook ..😊
Great vid! Me and my sister used your tutorial tonight for a breakfast tomorrow. I think I might have gone a little overboard with the flour bc my dough was a little on the solid side my fault. Turned out great tho, thank you!!🎉🎉
You could eat them as they are without the cream cheese topping but its not the same in my opinion, but then again Im a sucker for those sweet treats 😋
You’d think that they invented them…but as with most of their so called American dishes they were pinched ..Swedish dessert I think or certainly Scandinavian..😊
Why don’t you mix the butter sugar and cinnamon together then spread it. Less mess and it’s easier to cut because the loose sugar and cinnamon doesn’t fall out.
That’s how I do it… but I have done it both ways .it’s personal choice..after spreading the butter and cinnamon sugar I add a layer of stewed apple.. ( not too much or it makes it really hard to cut. ) but it’s amazing
It was waste of products. It doesn't work with these proportions and ingredients. And everyone who writes "so easy and so fluffy" haven't even tried to cook it. Thanks for wasting my money
@@Kitchensanctuary I did. I tried many of your recipes and love them but this one turned out a fail. First of all, the dough didn’t increase in size at all despite being left in a warm place. The milk and butter were also warm as described. I assume the amount of yeast should have been larger. Additionally, with the given amount of flour, the dough is too sticky. I tried to roll it up, but because of its stickiness, it turned into a mess. After baking, they were not fluffy at all. I assume this is because the dough didn’t increase in size originally.
Did you use a high protein flour? All purpose or regular bread flour won't do it. What strong flour means is a higher protein flour like bobs red mill artisan bread flour. Compared to 2-3g of protein the red mill has 5g which is 13% or more to be considered "strong" in the states. Hope this helps! If not dunno what's wrong either as I just made them and had no issues. I was even skeptical of the 10min mix!
@@Kitchensanctuary it just has to be oh so subtle in the background, barely hear it, just to create ambiance, doesn’t have to be loud or anything, just background noise. Really ups the production value, especially with filming food.

Thank you for sharing this. That has to be the easiest cinnamon roll recipe I’ve seen, in essence, it doesn’t take 5 hours to make.
Glad it was helpful!
Made these yesterday Fabulous ...And the house smelled like a bakery .TY

Nikki, if you don’t have a stand mixer, would a hand-held mixer do the job for both the rolls and frosting?
A hand mixer would work for the frosting, but not for the dough so much as it is a sticky dough... try mixing with a wooden spoon or such the old school way and build biceps ...on one arm at least...

Wonderful!
These look fabulous! Nicki did you use a fan oven setting?
Yes I do!
They look fantastic, Nicki 👍 I've stewed apple in the freezer, which I'm thinking of adding to this

These look sensational. What could you use as a topping if you didnt want it so sweet?
You could eat them as they are without the cream cheese topping but its not the same in my opinion, but then again Im a sucker for those sweet treats 😋
@@Kitchensanctuary me too - i'd eat the lot!
I cut the icing sugar by half..and add more lemon juice..a bit runnier but still sticks to the buns.. hope this helps.. 😊🇬🇧
Oh my goodness! They look so scrumptious😋🤗. Thank you Nicky❤️!!!
You are so welcome!
Looks so lovely I hope to make these soon 😀
A cup of hot chocolate on a fall day and those rolls, and it's gonna be a good day!
It’s Britain it’s Autumn.. 😊😂♥️
Those look amazing! Would love to try them out in a more special occasion (like in Xmas) as they are really decadent! Once again, congrats Nicky! xo
Thanks for your videos I’ve tried so many new recipes since finding your page :) 🎉
My pleasure 😊
You had me at Cinnamon rolls.
Can I use all purpose flour?
Looks delicious 😋😋😋😋
Thank you 😋
Oh my days, they look amazing, you make it look doable Nicki, so I shall have a go, my poor waistline! ❤
🤭
Will it work with ordinary plain flour instead of bread flour?
No not really..you need the higher protein that bread flour gives.. 😊
Yum!!!!!!
Thankyou for your video, Look So Good ! I MUST try this !😂😂😅😊😊❤❤❤
Where can I find the list of ingredients?
What is a chef treat, what you added in the oven?
Love it
I always hear the Americans banging on about these. I see why! They look so nice!

When do you add the heavy cream?
@@amyfvwilliams8947 There is no heavy/double cream in this recipe, but there is cream cheese in the frosting.

Well why are you watching a food channel..or are you one of these irritating people who complain about nice food ..🙄🇬🇧
Can this be done without a stand mixer? 🥲
Ahhh,,,back in the paisley top,,,or is it Laura Ashley. Mammy used to make these in the 60's , she added the thinnest slices of apples to this
In my kitchen unsalted butter does not exist
I use salted ..never had a problem, just cut down the salt in the dough a bit..🤷♀️
