@@AllenSpec It sounds like it and looks like. I started looking last night. Especially since I was offered $24,000 for the car. I can walk away and make a few dollars. The market right now is so ridiculous these cars are selling for $25000 to $29000 used. It's nuts
@@AllenSpec, Thanks for the feedback. The issue with this car is, I did the downpipe, Exhaust and Intake. Not much of a real difference when it comes to driving feel. The real change will be a tune. And then it will be the clutch. I went a Tuner who said to come back after I get the Type R retrofit clutch upgrade. Well that's $1800 for the clutch, another $1000 for install and the tune at $700 or $800. It doesn't seem worth it to me. At that point I trade this before all that and get a Type R. I don't want to have to spend $3000 or $3500 for a 45 HP gain. That's nutty. Honda fucked up with the clutches on these 10th Gens. They know people are buying them to mod and drive harder than a Pruis. I can't understand why they put such a weak clutch.
@@thinkforyourself5672 Yeah Honda really didn’t put any thought into these 10th gen the 8th gen and RSX are the last great engines even the TSX with the K24 those on boost are a handful
Hey reading the back of the amsoil fluid it says not for limited slip applications. Have you run into any issues using the fluid? I bought some and will do this asap but I'm worried there will be an issue.
I haven’t had any issues but glad you caught that. People use this on Honda’s cause the synchro are usually the first thing to go on these K transmissions.
I did a lot of research on it before I bought it and didn’t see anyone have issues after using it. It’s been a year and couple months with it and I’ve been good
@@AllenSpec thanks so much. Yah I did the research too but reading that scared the shit outta me. Thanks I think I'll run it because it's better than 110k mile fluid I bet and then maybe swap in oem next fluid change and see how that goes. Thanks.
Tried four different MTFs over 8 years in my '09 Si -- Amsoil has been the best so far, no lie.
Facts it made a day and night difference for me
@@AllenSpec that’s awesome. Always wanted to visit there.
Glad to see that made it better. The Si sounds great
Thanks bro it helped a lot no more third gear issues
the si sounds awesome
Thanks bro
Good stuff homie! And damn the car sound good!
Thanks homie need to do a little driving video see if I can mount it to the rear bumper
Allen Spec that would be perfect bro, I got the suction cup mount for the go pro if you ever need to borrow it fam
Could you have filled through speed sensor on top of transmission? That’s how I filled mine. Cars sounds awesome!
Not sure this is a Z3 transmission maybe there different?
Check your your clucth pedal make sure it's adjusted correctly
It wasn’t adjusted correctly when I did it made a big difference also
nice video i liked it a lot
Listening to the high revs of that 8th gen makes me want to trade my bolt on 2019 10th Gen for a low mile 8th lol. And I'm not kidding
It hits different when your revving out a k series especially the K20

Really!? That’s not bad just know the 8th gen going to be a slower car at first but once you do bolt ons and tune completely different car.

what's the exact weight for this? or could you supply exact link my mine cause i can't find. is it 5w30?
Used it in my rsx, shifts way smoother now👌🏿
I say if anyone buying these Honda or Acura used this should be the first thing along side with a oil change
How’s the amsoil holding up today?
@@armandoaparicio5799 still good bro

I was thinking the same thing too. I’ll try the OEM fluid next time see if there’s a big difference
what would you guys recommend amsoil or torco
Amsoil worked magic for me.
What city is that?
Fort Lauderdale
@@driverman9528 NO. Do you have a CVT transmission? Amsoil has special CVT fluid for your transmission.
Not too sure check with them if anything
@@AllenSpec give the year make and model and I’ll tell you.
@@driverman9528 Do you have 1.3 or 1.8 engine? If you have the 1.3 you need CVT fluid. If you have a 1.8 then you need ATF.
