Guys, this sounds like a really bad way to milk these. Just release them all in one big episode like you did with Jedi. OR if you wanna do the episode by episode premise, at least release them every day. I really don't like this decision.

Grievous lost 1 hand earlier when he fought Ventress so it makes sense for him to only have 3 lightsabers. Good attention for detail by Filoni, nice to see he remembered his past work.
I thought this was after son of dathomir. Since during that episode grevious never wore a cape.

@@svampen7782This is still the attack on the Nightsisters during TCW S4. The battle at the end of Son of Dathomir much later was an attack on the Nightbrothers on the other side of the planet.

Blind Wave is forgetting that Dooku secretly has rotating robo-hands and just keeps it a secret from everyone.
Jesus Christ, every time I get think the animated shows have peaked in visual quality they surpass themselves. The scenes on Dathomir looked jawdropping, outstanding aesthetics.

They talk about Grievous using only three lightsabers, but that's because when he dueled Ventress on Dathomir she was able to cut off one of his hands
Also he probably doesn't even need four arms for this fight. I'm actually surprised he even used the third one.

IMO this is Grievous at his most terrifying since the 2003 Clone Wars mini series. Someone already made an edit of the fight where they added in his 2003 theme and that effect was increased ten fold.

the thing is grievous wasn't just scary on 03 by being more pwerful is the way hes handled as a competent tactician, using everything he can to get the job done, see the 3rd arm surprise hit? the spiny blade as a distraction and intimidation? it reminds me of the ayyla shak ti ki adi fight, hes not stronger than 3 jedis, but he is smart and ruthless but not to the classic too angry and clumsy
compare it to most of the 3d cw show where he is just front and center swinging wildly in most of his fights lol
Dathomir has always been home to many clans of Witches. The Nightsisters were just one clan. Now I wonder if we'll see what happens with some of the other clans in Ahsoka season 2, now that the Nightsisters have returned to Dathomir.
People always forget there's only like 5 people who know Sidious ran the CIS before he ran the Republic / Empire. Morgan joining the Empire has no conflict of motivations because from the POV of the entire galaxy, the Empire crushed the CIS.
The Night sisters did know though that Dooku was Sith, so it becomes pretty obvious once you know Palpatine is Sith, which anyone high enough in the Empire to know of Vader (which in the direct confidence of Thrawn, Elspeth was) would know.
I guess Palptine’s best lie there would be that Dooku was the Master, and he was the Apprentice who usurped his master and ended the Clone War he had started to destroy the Republic, and instead made it something “stronger”.
I love that The Mountain Clan use some kind of Light Side force magik. Would love to see more involving them.

Assuming you've watched them all, I'm waiting to see who is first to spot the pattern in the titles of Morgan's three episodes
I'm not super up on it, but they're drawing on Legends for the mountain clan.
Seeing Grevious in his peak was great, but just the animation in general is so good in this series!
Not hard to spot the pattern lol, they probably spotted it when they went to the episode guide on Disney+
I think in legends there are also several witch clans on the planet and I believe the Nightsisters are the only ones who use dark magic
The Separatists would have won the war if every battle had loudspeakers just playing Grievous laughing maniacally. It would have freaked the clones out something terrible.
Waiting a week for a 12 min episode is crazy work
Grievous' issue is that while he has droid limbs and the physical ability to use more than 2 arms, he still has a "human" brain. It's hard to adjust your thinking and process all that information so quickly. Unlike someone like Pong Krell, he doesn't have the innate affinity for it.
Technically he isn't human but same point still applies
Just because Dooku taught Grevious how to fight though, doesn't mean he's going to have taught him the same style.
With 4 arms instead of 2 that's impractical.
Not to mention that Dooku's fighting style is so one-handed and technical, the exact opposite of Grievous' forceless and four-armed technique
the mountain clan matron's force shield reminded me a lot of Cere's force bubble in jedi survivor.
Gotta say I'm a little disappointed that a week after Tales of the Empire came out we still only have an episode 1 reaction. These aren't even full episodes, they're shorts, so I hoped they would put episodes 1-3 together in one video.

So cool to see the Singing Mountain Clan. As someone who played Star Wars Galaxies many years ago, I remember all the hours of grinding for faction Reputation between the Nightsister and Singing Mountain Clans for various quests. There’s also the Spider Clan which I wonder if they’ll ever explore as well. This episode made me want play to play SWG again 😄
Also hearing Grievous laughter in the background totally reminded me of being In the Myyydril caverns of Kashyyyk. Think after you defeat Necrosis, his laugh echos in the cave after you defeat him.
Binged the whole show on the 4th man it's so good excited to join you guys, and the line the mom saying something along the lines of just because you assume someone doesn't choose to fight doesn't mean they can't that was deep

Love seeing the mountain clan. Pretty sure they are major players in the legends book, the courtship of princess Leia. Which is also where we got the idea of the traveling jedi padawan training ship which I always feel like got turned into huyang.

the Singing Mountain Clan has been canon for awhile. the original story for the TCW anthology "Stories of Light and Dark" bring up the other witch clans. it's worth noting it was written by E. Anne Convery, Dave's wife
Grevious is my all time favorite character I really hope we get to see more of him someday.
These episodes are way too short for just 1 episode a week. I wish you react to 3 at the same time like you did with tales of the jedi

I mean, there was that one time he dueled Kit Fisto’s former Padawan Nahdar with 2 lightsabers, then shot him with a blaster using one of his extra arms.
Nahdar Vebb I believe was his name. And what sucks is that he was the only Jedi that grievous ever killed in the entirety of the clone wars show.

The Singing Mountain clan - one of the several clans of witches on Dathomir. Glad they canonised them!
Someone told me that the Mountain Clan, or something similar to it, was in the legends book that first introduced the Dathomir witches. Pretty cool detail, if it’s true!
I loved General Grievous in this. His updated model looks amazing & he was really menacing. Best part of the episode, or maybe of the whole TotE for me.

Because of the extra lore it brought with this new clan of light side witches of Danthomir i think episode 1 was the best out of those 3. Plus seeing Grievious being a actual menance in combat. 😈

I think the Mountain Clan was to show the light side of Magick which now with all the Peridea stuff hopefully it will be fully revealed to be another version of the force. Maybe if we are really luckily then the Mother theory will become true being that Baylan is looking for her and she represents Magick hence the name Mother Talzin or the Great Mothers.
Have you guys watched the unfinished Utapau Clone Wars arc? It has one of the best canon Grievous moments.

Grievous also used a third arm for a sneak attack similarly to this, but with a blaster against Nahdar in Clone Wars 1x10 "Lair of Grievous". Definitely something he should have utilized more though.

While all Nightsisters are Witches of Dathomir, NOT all Witches of Dathomir are Nightsisters (and never have been).

Or you could just… not to watch the whole thing at once, if that’s what you prefer… and then the massive number of people who simply aren’t gonna care about a 15 minute episode anymore in mid-June can get what they want too. What kind of coping mechanism is that to say “I’m glad you guys reduced content and are milking it like crazy, it keeps me waiting” lol

Not gonna care next month? People still rave about the Dooku episodes in TOTJ, a year and a half later. People seemed to care about the Rick & Calvin reactions to TCW and Rebels -- mostly 22-minute episodes, years after the initial airing/premiering, uploaded once a week.
You want the guys to put all these reactions out together or in a very short span of time, so that a "massive number of people" can watch them. That means the guys are actually, potentially losing out on views, likes, comments, etc. So in that way, they're _not_ milking it.
And why do all those people want these reactions so quickly? What's the real need? You enjoy something in Star Wars, but only a month later you don't care about it?
My impression is that, in large part, these people just want to vicariously relive the first-time experience of their favorite scenes and moments, and then paste in the same comment they've made on every other reaction they've watched for the same episode. The specific reaction channel is just a vehicle for those viewers' gratification.
So rather than coping, I'm _genuinely_ glad if the guys don't cater to that.
@@zephyr835 they can upload as they see fit and people will absolutely unsubscribe as they see fit. You can sit here and be a good consumer, justifying this for them however you want. There isn’t one GOOD reason for dragging on the release of these videos. They’re milking it for the sake of having content to post for weeks to come, not for the initial engagement numbers. You also can’t compare these shorts, released all at once and adding up to less than the length of a movie, to a show like rebels where we received new episodes for years and it’s a much longer storyline. Still seems like you’re massively coping to me

You said people won't "care about a 15 minute episode anymore in mid-June." Didn't give any other qualifiers about the show, nor did you address TOTJ. People still care about the 15-minute Dooku episodes. And again, why wouldn't people care after a month? If people enjoy something enough that they want to see reactions to it, why would they stop caring a month later?
So I don't see what I'm "coping" with. I don't have a problem with the uploads. My initial comment was replying to a similar opinion. And I was willing to leave it at that. _You_ have a problem with the uploads, and were bothered enough by this that you made a demeaning reply to people who have a different opinion.
That door is cool. But they really try too hard to make everything "Sci-fi." A door in that village would be a door. It wouldn't be a hydraulically-actuated, computer-controlled, automatic folding entry system.
I don't think the mountain clan was truly safe from the droids. I have my doubts that the brothers were safe, too. As Obi-Wan said in TPM, the Naboo and the Gungans form a symbiont circle. What happens to one affects the other. It seems to me that the mountain clan is still the same species as the Nightsisters, but they chose a more peaceful way of life and used magic in a more defensive way. But they really didn't live that far away from each other, so it's reasonable to assume they had trade between them. And do you really think Grievous is going to make the distinction between different clans of the same species on the same planet? Someone willing to commit genocide like that isn't going to waste time on figuring out who is innocent.
I think the Morgan episodes feel rushed, but I still really liked this season.
I think it’s more that the 3rd one is kinda superfluous. The Thrawn one would have been a better point to end on honestly.
Maybe with a 2nd younger Morgan short before it, with her working in a Sienar Fleet Systems TIE factory, ruthlessly working her way up the hierarchy whilst designing the TIE Defender.
All of them are rushed, including the Barriss episodes.
