I booked the Tata tigor cng amt last week but when I checked with random owners at their service centers and even my friends who own a tata car I was extremely discouraged to buy any tata car. I know they're making safer cars than any other manufacturer but what's the point of safety when you're harassed by the dealerships in such a way.. Driving in frustration is equally dangerous than driving a zero star car.. I own a grand vitara and be it sales or the service centre experience, i always get a call from maruti to ask me if i have any complaints and they have a strict regime.. I've received call from maruti even when i mentioned my car wasn't washed properly.. If maruti and hyundai being the Top 2 companies can focus on their customers why can't Tata.. We're accepting their cars with the worst fit and finish and quality checks, unrefined engines and unreliable electronics and on top of that customers have to bear the harassment of their dealerships as well.. That's why people compromise on safety and buy other brands.
I own TATA Punch EV SLR. I am very happy with the vehicle and dealer behaviour. Bhai chare see sab kaam ho jaate hain, they even send their engineer to my home even for checking very minor issues. Over time those issues have been resolved. I am sort of their 'brand ambassador'. Since EV concept is new for many buyers, the dealer asks their potential buyers to talk to me, I explain them all pros and cons of the vehicle. The dealer also reciprocates this relation.
I really wanted to buy Punch EV. But very bad delivery experience, niggles and poor service experience of Tata Safari kept me away from buying Tata again.

My aunt's nano didn't run even 2000 kms in 5 years but they would pick up service for every six months. one fine day the car was not moving and what was found is the wheels got jammed. All these years, during service, they didn't even open the wheels, let alone cleaning the brake pads.

PUNCH EV RANGE DROP ISSUE Sharing my experience: Sir, I have bought Punch EV LR variant 3 months back. Day by day, the range (with AC on) increased from 250 to 300km (with energy efficiency 110-120). We live in north India and during extreme hot weather (40 degree+), the range decreased to 200-210, and energy efficiency increased to 160 (shocking). The climate system is consuming more battery (what I have observed!). Means, range has now decreased from 300 km to 200-220 km, i.e. more than 80-90 kms, which is a big figure! On the other hand, my driving behavior has improved from 7 to 8 (so range should increase, right ?). My daily kilometer calculations are being disturbed and now I am charging my car 3 more days in a month (consuming more electricity). This reduced range issue is also with one of my known, who is also using same PUNCH EV car. One thing more, this issue is not with my friend's Nexon EV, as it's range is reduced by 30-40 km only (during peak summers). Sir, I have approached Tata, but their response is not satisfactory. I have also shared my driving behaviour figures, range display screenshots with them. What to do, please help punch EV owners
I do not think it is an issue. The reason for range decrease during summer is the battery power is used to run the battery and motor cooling system more. Also Nexon has bigger battery thats why the range decrease is less, while punch has smaller battery so range decrease is more. Once summer goes, the range will come back to normal......it is normal behaviour of all liquid cooled battery packs

There are no norms, rules and regulations for Dealers. Government should impose certain strict rules and laws for Car Dealers as they exploit the Customers. They probably might be even evading tax. Why is the Government allowing the Dealers to cheat Customers? If a person is going to be cheated in such ways then why should Customers buy from such Dealers?

Tata ke service center Wale log taxi drivers ko deal karne ki aadat ke kaaran, badtameezi aur chalaki karne ki koshish karte hain. TATA ko apni dealership aur service centre ko badalna shuru kar Dena chahiye. Naye logon ko service center do, naye mechanic rakho. Purane logon ko ab theek karna possible nahi hai... Vo 20-25 saal se taxi drivers ke saath deal kar kar ke pagal ho chuke hain.

I have tata altroz. Worst service experience by far. Cancelled my Nexon ev booking and going for Mahindra XUV 400 instead. Tata is just playing on nationalist sentiment. Will not buy another tata. They will face the same fate as that of Ford. Naam itna badnaam ho jayega koi free me bhi nhi lega
Most of the brands in India do such nonsense. Because they know government doesn’t have any policies to control such business houses. Companies not worry for quality dealers. They only look money powered dealers rather quality one. Approach to consumer court.
Tara company ko dealer yash motor bhilwara ke against action lena chahiye.
Dealer ki itni himmat tabhi ho sakti hai jab use yeh maloom ho ki company kuchh nahi karegi uske against. Seems like tata has become like a sarkari company.

Tata service is worst throughout india. Because of bad service i bought nexa fronx. Nexa service is superb . thanks to maruti suzuki 👍
Tata ke service center Wale log taxi drivers ko deal karne ki aadat ke kaaran, badtameezi aur chalaki karne ki koshish karte hain.
TATA ko apni dealership aur service centre ko badalna shuru kar Dena chahiye.
Naye logon ko service center do, naye mechanic rakho.
Purane logon ko ab theek karna possible nahi hai... Vo 20-25 saal se taxi drivers ke saath deal kar kar ke pagal ho chuke hain.
Simple hai.. Ask TATA to align you to a different or better dealer. Solved
