  • Unscientific comparison but point is they’re both similar money and features. Which do you prefer?

    A tad difficult to tell over YT. For me, a small amp has to sound like a big amp, otherwise I'd rather have a big amp. I like my Spark 40 for home use. I have a Marshall 80W and two Vox 10W combo amps but don't use them. ;)

      If your familiar with the boss katana 50...would you recommend the spark 40 over it? Looking for something new. I know the katana has a whole software programmable deal which I wouldn't toy around with. I just play metal at home and in the garage so want an easy set up

    • @thenovicenoisemaker
      @thenovicenoisemaker  Год назад +1

      @@DressagePonyQueen just my opinion but no. If you use the Spark manually without the app there is nothing to be gained with the Spark. The sound quality is good but no match for the Katana.
      If metal is your thing (I’m a metal man even though I don’t play it) then maybe one of the Marshalls (I have one now, did a little video on it) or even a Fender Mustang LT25. The latter has done great presets, takes pedals well and sounds good too

    Marshall has the fuller sound due to the larger speaker the blackstar would sound like wet fart when the gain is up , Blackstar has more functionality , pedals yes I am thinking of that since I have 3 Stack P90's having a noise gate is important, be nice if you could morph the functionality of Blackstar with the sound of the Marshall , good review
