- Part 1 of my playthrough of the Lost And Damned. One of the best video game DLCs of all time. This DLC follows the story of Johnny Klebitz vice president of the Lost MC.

The episodes of Liberty city always made me wish Rockstar games could've done something similar with GTA V,instead of milking grand theft online

Rockstar's a goddamn different company at this point. Dan & Sam Houser, Leslie Benzies, and Lazlow all provided their own flavors to these games. With the last founding pillars falling, the building collapses. What's left is just an unrecognizable mess.

Fact about Angus Martin: Angus became paralyzed because of an accident caused by Billy Grey when they rode together. Billy didn't see a truck and it struck the two. Both of them survived, but Angus lost the use of his legs, forcing him to maneuver around in a wheelchair. Billy ended up being incarcerated before the events of TLaD
Johnny got done dirty in GTA5. Was so disappointed at how his character tied into that.

Johnny was violated, they made him a bitch. I don’t understand why they made his character so disappointing , a junkie with no self-respect and would rather he wasn’t even there, so, so, so disappointing, he could of been a big part of the game with his ties and what he did in TLAD game, it’s like all that character development just erased in a few minutes of introducing him in GTA V, the scene after Trevor fucked his girl, it just killed the whole mood when I replayed TLAD because I just kept thinking “how has he come to this? After all the time I spent in the game, it feels like a waste to see him turn out like that. I preferred the 3 main characters in IV than V, Niko is my all time favourite GTA protagonist, I’m Eastern European myself living in the UK, and I thought Johnny and Luis were great characters, Each of them had more personality than all of V protagonists combined, Trevor was just crazy white man, Micheal was depressed white man and Franklin was just boring black man , like CJ on anti-psychotics
@@aleksandrilarionov6545 well that explains how boring GTA V is. but that’s my personal opinion. GTA IV was leagues better story wise and all the 3 main protagonists of GTA IV had amazing personality that made me love them

@@broden4838 I always assumed that 250k was the last of the money Pegorino had and that he was getting ready to flee Alderney. He had a boat ready to go and seemed to be waiting in the casino while his goons probably tried to scrape some cash, based off some dialogue with Little Jacob. It’d also explain why Pegorinos still able to hire a sizable amount of goons and at one point he says he’ll give 50,000 to whoever manages to kill Niko.

A) They want to shut Pegorino up for good or
B) He pissed off everyone after Niko killed Dimitri and Pegorino murdered Katie?
@@broden4838 It’s a lot like Niko said, they thought he was a joke and an annoyance. Based off the missions with the Pavanos and John Gravelli it’s clear that they don’t respect the pegorinos at all and view them as a bunch of 3rd rate goons. Niko was actually the one to win Gravellis respect, making him a known associate of the strongest crime family in the city. we know that the commission would have taken the Pegorinos out once they found out that they were attacking the Ancelottis, who were the weakest of the 5 families.If it wasn’t for Niko Pegorino would’ve been killed by those Pavano hitmen in his first mission and it’s pretty clear that Niko was the most effective “muscle” of the organization. The mafia probably was glad Niko took Pegorino out and wasn’t gonna stand in his way basically, but I don’t think they would’ve paid him for killing Pegorino since they would’ve just tried sending their own hitmen or something. Basically I think your first theory is more likely

Man, love how depressing GTA 4 endings are. Main story is depressing as hell, both ending, and now his gloomy The Lost story. Such a great game overall, so dark and serious.

I wish Rockstar wouldn't have killed off Johnny Klebitz so easily. He should have had a longer fighting scene with Trevor instead of Johnny crying acting non biker like. It's uncharacteristic for him to act like that no matter the circumstance. They killed off a fully developed character that a lot of OG fans cared about in the dumbest way.
I completely agree I know Trevor was crazy but he was way to much of a badass to go out that easily

I like the parallels between this DLC and RDR's story. Manipulative gang leader on a downward spiral leads to the fragmentation of his gang and eventual demise by one of his former brothers/sons. Even some of the dynamics between the members seem similar
I can see the similarities being in my opinion:
Billy - Dutch
Johnny - Arthur
Jimmy - John
Brian - Bill
Terry - Lenny
Clay - Hosea
Angus - Pierson
Dave - Trelawney
Jason - Sean
Javier and Bill fit the archetypes of the other lost members you have during the gang wars, but i am open to other opinions.

It’s like tlad is the good ending of rdr2 where the antagonist dies and the protagonist becomes the leader
Some might notice that Billy's case worker Chad strongly resembles Brad from GTA V, and that is because both of them were voiced by the same person, and Rockstar has a habit of making minor characters look like the person who voiced them.
The same occurrence happens in Red Dead Redemption, were a minor character; the unnamed old man in the stranger mission water and honesty, strongly resembles Hosea Matthews from Red Dead Redemption 2, and this is because they both have the same voice actor, who also provides the likeness for both characters.
I like lost and damned because it reminds me on my brother's I served within the service in the ,,, keep up the good work

Can't wait to watch this playthrough. I don't think I ever enjoyed a GTA story as much as TLAD even though it was very short. Man I so badly wish we got these type of expansions for GTA 5 and RDR2.

Lost MC: Brothers! We have a few.....Angel's of Death to take care of.
GTA in 2009 you ride with you crew in single player. 2021 you ride on futuristic Oppressor MK2 and destroy everyone with homing rockets.
Not to metion that beetween 2000 to 2010 we got 4 GTA main games 2 big Story DLC, and nowadays we get a remaster for GTA V for each console generation, and the same map for GTA Online (GTA VI).If this trend will continue we can expect for GTA VII to have alien invasion, matrix simulation were you do mini games with superpowers to earn money, and more expensive shark cards (basically Saint Row 4, and Gat out of Hell clone).

TLAD is a very underrated DLC. One of my favorites. It sucks to see Johnny die in GTA 5. He could have had better potential. Great to see you playing this Pro.
Man, I totally missed the days where Rockstar make another story expansion where we witness another stories on the same timeframe as DLC compared what they did on the current DLC and all the non senses that happens on GTA Online and GTA IV
One thing I find amusing about the two story expansions is that the one activity the protagonist is vocally against in the storyline, is the one that nets you the most cash in-game.
TLAD - Johnny is against needless gang violence. Gang Wars, especially doing all 50, pay out the most cash in-hand.
TBOGT - Luis is against getting involved in Armando and Henrique's drug dealing business. Doing all 50 Drug Wars nets you the most cash in the game.

The timeline this DLC went to was almost at the same time Niko landed his first step... Especially the first part...
Yeah, but what doesn’t make sense is that niko is in alderney, but yeah Roman hasn’t been kidnapped which means that Alderney is still locked off because of “fucking terrorist”
@SAUCE GOD it’s alright I get some of my facts mixed up as well. I always presumed tlad takes place during the first half of gta 4 and Tbogt takes place during the 2nd half of gta 4.

It really annoyed me when they killed him off in GTA 5, I spent hours in this game for the protagonist to get killed off. Definitely wasn’t like johnnys character to bow down to Trevor. Rockstar a made a mistake their!

@@asxmeggy5049 unpopular opinion tlad but tbogt is great it has that old school gta gunplay and missions. Tlad is more like gta 4 very story based immersive and slow paced. They're both great and played in order with gta4 make gta5 look incomplete.

I love tlad! The guns, the new metal music, the whole biker theme. Just amazing all around. Tbogt is good fun too and also had good music added. Too bad the radio in gta 5 was just butchered.

I love you tell us the details and explain why did the character do this and comment on everything I love it! I hope you explain how Johnny became a methhead and came back to Ashley, despite him leaving Her. He was so different he doesn’t take shit anyone, who you never expected him to be the person in gta 5.
This game was depressing as hell, especially when I accidentally found out Johnny was killed in GTA5. I hated the fact that Johnny had just a crappy mattress to flip on. They couldn’t even give him a full on bed. Even at the house he gain when Brain died was a run down piss hole.
One thing I’ve never notice on my first play through is if you can save any of the other brothers while on the gang wars. I know the main characters die at certain segments, but what about the others with random names on the board.

Gta IV - GTA V
I’ve always found it interesting seeing these 3 characters lives intercept with the other in the criminal underworld. You see all 3 perceptions in the Herion deals and Diamond deals how they were robbed off each other not knowing who the other 2 are. They all probably just assumed the other characters were just another thug in Liberty City which is infested with thugs and an extremely high crime rate of murder, robbery, drugs, gangs, corruption and of course carjacking.
The thing that I didn't like about the trio of Niko, Johnny and Luis is that they barely interact each other, and they didn't have exactly a frienship quemestry, like the trio of Franklin, Michael and Trevor.

I never played the dlcs for gta 4, i didn't think it was worth 20 bucks a piece, i only knew Johnny from getting his head stomped in lol
I really liked TLATD but my major complaint with it was that it was extremely short and that the story feels rushed due to it, like the antagonist switches rapidly from the corrupt cops to Ray to Billy
