@@twilliamspro pretty sure they would but Niko would still go after Pegorino for shooting up romans wedding even if no one died b/c Niko would realize that Pegorino would not stop trying and would go to extreme lengths such as shooting up the wedding to have Niko whacked.
Wow Pro that was the only death in this series, gta SA had like 4 fails I think. My favorite was when you fell off the dirt bike and the cop busted you before you got up (photograph mission gta SA)
In GTA V you can literally get through the whole game without dying or failing, it's very engaging in terms of gameplay but it's extremely easy too, if you could set the difficulty that may help but I guess trying to get gold in every mission is a way to make it tougher or setting your own conditions.
For me, this was always the more sensible choice. Yeah Roman wanted Niko to get over his past, but it seems like he didn’t understand that Dimitri had been hunting them both down for weeks, if not months. He’d stop at nothing until they were dead, so killing him at this opportunity made sense to me, so he’d no longer continue to be a threat. And finding out in the Deal ending that Kate pretty much ditched Niko at his lowest point confirmed to me that choosing Revenge is the wiser option.
Pegorino is such an idiot. He shot up the wedding becausw Niko didn't do the deal and killed Dimitri. But if he DID do the deal, he would die anyway. So he shot up the wedding for no reason
@SAUCE GOD A different Ending which might have been pretty cool too is instead of Kate getting shot Niko does so protecting Kate. He doesn't dies but he does get wounded. Not sure if he should pass out or not but yeah. Then he maybe wakes up and then. He goes to kill Pegorino wounded. So in the mission he can be stubling and in the cutscenes you can see he's hurting. An almost death experience for Niko. That'd be really awesome. He still gets to laugh and call Pegorino a Joke though even wounded. That'd be an awesome Ending. Him not getting shot would have been too perfect so that might have been the best.
It was not Niko's fault that Kate died as no one could have ever expected Roman's wedding going in the way it did. Also, he did try to save her when Pegorino started firing.
And RUclips said all of you will be out of commissions for good too as well sorry for talking to all of you like those we didn't mean to please forgive us we are so sorry our friends

After I beat this game the 2nd time, Kate still calls me and asks for a date even though she died. So I guess in my game Kate respawned at the hospital
I remember that. Yeah I believe it's a glitch but like in 2009 or 2010 there was a myth that it was Kate's ghost. It never happened to me but I was scared shitless every time I played GTA 4 back then.

If Niko uses his war tactics, he will know that its better to bring the fight to the enemy than rather than waiting. He knows that Dimitri is the biggest threat while Pegerino is incompetent. Niko isnt even concerned about Pegerino as hes a joke. I see this as the canon ending as Niko would obviously want to take out the biggest threat first if he can and the fact Dimitri didn't know that Niko is coming onto his ship which makes it the perfect opportunity to strike. You can see Dimitri clearly underestimated Niko in this ending.

The thing that sucks about Kate dying is that I never wanted to like her. When I first saw her, I was like "Oh no, I'm definitely not getting into a relationship with her" but then near the end of the game, Niko admitted to someone in a phone call that he had feelings for Kate, and I was like "Noooooo!" but then I accepted it. If this was how the game was gonna go, then so be it. So then I was more fond of Kate, and was happy with that conversation they had getting to the church. Then she freaking dies and I got shocked and upset. I realized that ultimately I was right to not want to get close to her. But you know what? She lived some happy final moments with Niko at Roman's wedding. Much better than what she does after the Deal ending.

"only a piece of crap like Dimitri will be selling heroin" uh.. Let's just forget about the fact that D'wayne sold that too and got in prison for 20 years...
Dwayne at least acknowledged that while it did make him rich, he was unhappy and horrified at drug dealing as he watched his friends becoming his customers.

@@mohdadeeb1829 not really. Well, Nico surely stayed alive because Jon Graveli was so nice to him. Besides, it is his family and surely the whole Mafia that thinks that Jimmy P is a fat joke
Part of me believes that the glitch where Kate still calls you up for dates after this ending was actually an intended, but incomplete feature to demonstrate Niko's anguish of losing her. The "unknown number" as her post-mortem call ID just seems too constructed to be a glitch. Especially since this didn't happen with Roman. It got patched up rather quickly in the weeks after the game's release but im sure a few old videos about it are still around.
Dimitri: Begging for his life and persuade Niko to spare him Niko: Immediately Killed him without any further doubt Me: Oh Man, That's the *MOST SATISFYING* thing ever that happened in entire GTA IV
Still a tragic ending. Niko finally gets Dimitri and makes his intentions clear that he wants to settle down. The conversation with Kate just before the church hits really hard. The only thing I would change would be having Phil drive the boat Pegorino is in during the final chase and on Happiness Island Phil drops his weapon and you're given a choice before confronting Pegorino below the statue.
I had some really anticlimactic events in the last mission myself. The first time I didn't have enough speed for the stunt jump. The second time I was low on health and had to eat a hotdog in the middle of a gunfight. The vendor didn't even flinch despite being in the crossfire. I don't think you should try to apply logic to how Pegorino got that many men. It's just a GTA finale and thus has to have a large number of enemies. He couldn't have hired them with 'heroin money' as he has no money due to the deal falling apart, thanks to you taking your revenge on Dimitri. That's the whole reason he attacks the wedding!
Do you know the final nail in the coffin that make me always pick the Revenge Ending? Well, the fact that Out of Commission still gives you $250K. That's right, you still get that money even if you refused the Deal and kill Dimitri. So... The money part of the deal is kind of dud in the end. The only choice that truly matter is about the Principle with Dimitri, and choosing the fate of Roman and Kate.
If you take revenge, Kate dies. If you take deal, Roman dies and Kate leaves him to get away from Niko and her criminal brothers. Either way, Niko loses Kate.
I love the story to this game so much. It really shows you the gruesome reality of the criminal underworld. Yes, it might be cool and exciting sometimes, for awhile even, but sooner or later your choices end up catching up with you, hurting you, or people you care about.
Pegorino is almost just as bad as Devin Weston from GTA 5 both of them try to act like they on top of the world, but in the end if things don't go their way they want someone dead. Devin Weston wanted Michael dead because he blamed him for killing his assistant Molly so he sent Merryweather to kill him and threaten Franklin to kill him also. Pegorino does the same thing he tries to act like he gives the orders and yet he just doesn't seem to care if anyone of his members dies as long as he gets money then he is on top. Remember when you did the "Deal" and he calls you, you can tell that he didn't really care if Dimitri screwed him over he just only cared about having money. So in Revenge he acts all angry because Niko killed Dimitri knowing that he was the same guy that screwed him over and he didn't seem too bothered by it. So yeah compared some of the other antagonist Pegorino is probably the weakest.
@SAUCE GOD Yeah now that you mentioned Devin Weston acts more like a scammer than an antagonist. I get they tried to make him different, but its in the end they tried to make him too much of the bad guy and that falls apart. Even the others like Steve Haines, Stretch, and Wie Cheng were not taken too seriously either. I just hope in the next GTA they actually go back to having more evil antagonist like Dimitri and Officer Tenpenny. GTA 5 always felt forgettable when it comes to who you remember was the bad guy and the only one that came to my mind was Devin Weston.
Yes. Jimmy Pegorino is just really a joke. The five powerful families don't take him seriously. He didn't realize that it is not worth it to be betrayed and capped by a snake like Dimitri. He didn't know that the venomous Russian had stole the money and sold the heroin to someone else.
Glad the professional loves this gta game because he has that New York City feeling. As a New Jersey fella, I thought that Alderney captures the North Jersey feel. I wish Jersey gets more representation than just the Sopranos or Jersey shore guido stereotype representation that it gets well known for. Heck bring in the Pine Barrens. The Jersey shore. Atlantic City. This game map deserved an expansion pack. Give us even Long Island. The Hudson valley. Upstate NY map there
It's wasn't Niko fault at all when Kate died during Roman's Weeding because she just accidentally died because Jimmy tried to kill Niko and the bullet accidentally hit her
Niko should have said to the Peg: "You didnt change the game. The game changed you" after laughing. This quote also sums up the life of Jimmy Pegerino. Pegerino thought he made an impact but the lifestyle he choose really lead to his downfall and changed him mentally. Just like Playboy X. Only Phil Bell is the sane one.

Well he’s happier in the Revenge Ending than the Deal Ending, in the Revenge Ending he loses Kate but still has Roman and the others, but in Deal he loses Roman and Kate too and only has the others. So yeah Revenge is pretty much the happier ending compared to the Deal Ending which is truly the sad ending.
I got a different conversation with Kate and I’ve completed this game a few times. Same goes for the bank heist convention. There must be multiple conversations in this game not everyone gets to hear.
Dimitri: People won't be happy if you killed me Me: Who's says that Shit because everyone will be partying if Niko killed you and put you Out of Commission for real (And I mean, PERMANENTLY)
I think its more of the fact of how someone like Niko managed to beat him at the end. Dimitri was so used to being on the top after Faustins death, he thought he was untouchable and no one could stop him. Niko proved him wrong in the revenge ending.

Pegorino was also desperate at the time. His family was falling apart and he was about to face prison time. Hes basically a laughingstock in the Liberty City underworld. This makes Pegerino's mind very vulnerable to someone like Dimtri.
Jimmy P did not realize that it is not worth it to be betrayed and killed by a snake like Dimitri. The latter became a liability to the Mafia because of the heroin screwjob. So, it did not take too long for the fall of the Pegorino family.
I'm not sure it's fair to say it was Niko's fault as much as Gerry and Packie's fault for getting involved with the Pegorinos and then introducing Niko to Ray Boccino. Also if Jimmy had have worked on his accuracy or even listened to Phil Bell's opinions on Dimitri there wouldn't have been a problem.
From my perspective the Canon ending was tragic, not because of kate's death, it was sad yes, but I cant find anyone that talks about how it affected niko's mental health at the end, "i shouldn't get close to anyone", the guilt, the blame, sounded like a scar that would haunt him forever and I admire that from his character to just take it like a champ and move on.
This is the closest to a good ending, I know that it’s still sad, it breaks niko and packies heart but this is the closest thing to a good ending, unlike Kate, Roman would never give up on him and leave him behind, niko will still have family, and a future niece (or nephew) that he can be a good uncle to.

In GTA V you can literally get through the whole game without dying or failing, it's very engaging in terms of gameplay but it's extremely easy too, if you could set the difficulty that may help but I guess trying to get gold in every mission is a way to make it tougher or setting your own conditions.

I like how Packie doesn't even blame Niko, like, he trust Niko and knows that wasn't his fault, Packie is a real friend too
Packie is a real one, after all
For me, this was always the more sensible choice.
Right on.
Couldn't have said it better myself, man. Amen to that. 🙌🏻
This ending is still sad losing Kate but you still have Roman to bowl
Pegorino is such an idiot. He shot up the wedding becausw Niko didn't do the deal and killed Dimitri. But if he DID do the deal, he would die anyway. So he shot up the wedding for no reason
My first time playing, when i did revenge, I never really felt sad because i never went on any dates with kate
I just, didn't care about her death
And call for taxi services
You lose Kate either way
You can see the game trying to correct the chases by boosting the vehicles speed and making turns they shouldn’t be able to.
I would definitely pick this ending instead of the other, you did good on this series

So, when the time came, Dimitri was in the same position as Devin Weston - begging for mercy. That snake underestimated Niko's state of mind.
This is one of the few times in GTA where the protagonist beat their enemies to the punch. Very satisfying to see the protagonist do it.

The thing that sucks about Kate dying is that I never wanted to like her.
The moral of this story is never leave loose ends untied.
The front side of the statue after killing Pegorino also shows that it was the better one.
I always have chosen the "Revenge" mission. Dimitri was a spineless rat that should have been dealt with a long time ago
Upstate NY map there
The GTA 4 Map was supposed to be even bigger, but for some reason they skip that Idea there is some concepts of discarted maps of GTA IV.
I like the revenge ending cause you can get to kill him without him bleeding out, Roman get's to live and become a father.

10:30 and love how you said "Dimitri is a slimeball that he can't accept his death" because he loves betraying people

@@Marky-Mark1337 If you guys said "Fat fucking Joke" with Niko then you're a goat. 🐐
You know. The way Pro also says the lines along with the Characters.
I think the reasone why packie move to los santos is because of katies death
