I think it’s because it’s a “disability” that doesn’t actually impair physical stuff. It’s an easy disability diversity checkbox to fill in without having to actually think of how a disability would affect the ability of a character. You don’t have to think of how to compensate for example albinism not being able to handle the sun or bright lights, or a crippled person unable to handle stairs well, or a blind person unable to see. Just slap vitaligo on and your heckin wholesome diversity quota gets more filled out.

In the opening of the game, the main character before we know anyone there - a whole new world/game for people, abuses their power to command her own friends (who she says she loves btw) to shut up. It's extremely telling of how the writing is going to go, what type of people the games wants us to be and follow.
Just imagine if in the Walking Dead Season 1, you could tell Clem to shut up. Horrible I know, but there is a branching dialogue tree, for any reaction. Lee, Clementine, and the other guy I forgot the name of, have the chance to be assholes. Or not.

This game is painfully self aware, but not self aware at the same time. What I mean by that is, the fact these characters have zero likeability and zero accountability, yet crave to taken seriously; is a fantastic play on how the woke audience's mindset is in real life, yet they still don't see it. Hell, if anything, if they played this game they'd probably end up reforming, seeing just how idiotic they are and cringe.
As a game itself, this looks utterly boring to play. The whole scene where you're forced to sit in a car while barely having anything to interact, look, or engage with is horribly design; they just want you to sit there on an endless loop, listening to these characters? And they didn't think to allow their introductions to come off more naturally or something? You're FIRST experience is this. Not a gameplay section where you're explained the controls, to get this McGuffin, while battling enemies, which would open up more world building and introduce the characters for their specialties in a natural manner; they went this route?
They can hate on gamers for talking shit about this game all they want, but even without it's wokeness, it's just an below average game, where they really didn't care for engaging and fun gameplay loop; the whole point of a game. Even Life is Strange, Tell Tale Games, or Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls/Detroit have a more interesting gameplay loop and interactivity, while solely focusing on the characters and narrative. This game is an embarrassment and to those who worked on this project...they should be embarrassed too. I wouldn't want my name associated with this in any way possible.

I'm almost finished watching this whole video, and I'm genuinely SAD. This game looks like it could have been really good, the story could have been very compelling if it had been narrated in a different way. And I'm not against making the characters diverse and quirky, even having flaws humanizes them. But they are... Just. So. Evil. Bossing, bullying, and gaslighting everyone that gets in their way, indiscriminate of them being friend or foe, doing all sorts of illegal things in order to get by, which... I mean, I know sometimes it isn't easy to get by, but they show NO REGRET on their wrongdoings. In some situations they even behave in the most inmature way they could. And after all of that we are supposed to believe THEY are the good guys? Jeez. I believe the most memorable line from this game isn't even told from one of the protagonists, it's from one of the generic Justice guards:
"People don't like politics in their entertainment".
They sure don't like the way they are being implemented in here. They ruin the whole experience.

why do I get the feeling that the vampire chick is going to betray everyone? she uses her power to, as the game says, "gaslight" people and last I checked gaslighting is considered bad to these people, also she's the one who in comparison to everyone else is acting the most "adult" and as we all know acting like an adult is considered a bad quality in this propaganda piece

the dialogue is AMAZING. I need to hear from the people that unironically like playing this. Like... What is fun about it? The combat parts almost seem like theyre worse to play than the conversational parts

the whole "nobody is gonna listen to Theo" rubbed me in all the wrong ways. poor guy is the literal leader of the team, nobody would have a job without him, and they just treat the poor guy like crap. he's actually a pretty decent character so far, he's one of the only other characters that don't piss me off lol. oh well i guess..

i find it so funny the whole game they are the oppressed ones that people hate for no reason for the demo had them being arrested drug related crimes and them responding with violence and singing "your time is past" "your kind wont last" WOW what a under dog

I'm also gonna add I want my ending of everyone turning into demons and Doom guy coming in and ending everyones suffering, but Theo and the Robot can live. They're my favorites already. Kind of sad how Theo, a side character, who Pax clearly hates (and I'm assuming the player as well) is the main favorite among people. I feel bad for you having to play the horrid song and game though.
Also also, I don't like K-Pop. I don't hate everything related to only South Korea, but just K-Pop and North Korea in general

As much as I dislike this game, I will give them credit, the idea of having magnets in gloves and metal in a bat to make a bat come to your hand like its thors hammer is actually a cool idea, I just wish it was in a better game.
U and me both I can't wait to see what kinda upgrades we can do to the bat maybe somthing cool could come from that
