I love how principled and composed Johnny is throughout the game. They really made him likable and that’s not easy when his crew is mostly awful.
Jim, Angus, Terry and Clay aren’t awful just Billy and cry baby Brian. As professional said Rockstar did a good job making Brian hate-able b/c when this DLC first came out and I played it. I remember wanting to immediately kill Brian b/c his voice and personality is just toxic and he sounds like a cry baby bitch which he is which is why when it came time to put him down or spare him. I put him down.

Agree. Brian was a really annoying character and if you spare him - he still would betray you if you can encounter with him after a game story in a freeplay.

Screw Billy. His non-stop thirst of blood and selfishness led him to fall on his own trap. Leaving Jim and Johnny to their own ended with him arrested, ahhh the irony.
The irony is if you know what happened in the ballad in Chinatown it’s really ironic regarding billy here.

I think Brian was building trust with Billy, to rise the losts ranks so when he got arrested,he became president and maybe even lead the rest of the lost into a trap, but Johnny got in the way, since he was vice President, and that's why Brian called Johnny a rat and tried to put the blame on him

It never would’ve happened anyway, in a club like this any position given is earned through a vote by the senior most members of the club. The only reason Johnny became VP and billy became president was because guys like Jim, Terry, Clay, Angus, and Brian voted them into those positions. Billy clearly was loved and trusted by his club at one point to be voted into president. Brian never would’ve been voted in.

They make it seem like that was Johnny's first time leading the Chapter when he actually was leading the Chapter while Billy was in rehab.

He was still vice president at that time, he doesn't get to do anything a president does, but when billy is gone, he became president fully.
I think Brian is a lot smarter then he lets on. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned out too be the rat. He shifts the blame on Johnny and Johnny didn’t really deny his claim that the FIB contacted him. Plus Brian seems too be the only one not effected by that deal. That seems very suspicious imo.
Plus he acts like a real buster.
On a more positive note, the Uptown Riders are based off the Ruff Ryders. Only difference is that the Ruff Ryders are more of a lifestyle/hip-hop group while the Uptown Riders are a biker gang with a recreational group getup as their front.
I like how Billy says he's not going back to prison but an hour later he gets arrested

He did mention the Yakuza a bit during his GTA 3 playthroughs. Granted, that was regarding the ones in the US, not overseas.

I think Brian’s plan was to ultimately try to become leader. He clearly saw that Billy sent Johnny and Jim to their death with the Triad deal, so thinking that they’d die in there he called the cops to get rid of Billy as well so he could become leader. But it obviously failed and his backup plan was to blame and divert all the heat to Johnny.
Additionally, if you go to the AOD's website you will know why Johnny calls them racist.

Brian in this mission makes me angry every time I play it
I do like how Malc uses the same bike in GTA5 Online. I find it cool just because you only see it in the introduction cutscene to the MC clubhouse. It's a neat bit of detail.

Billy was the informant, he called the cops. He didn't get released early due to the stupid councelor but to take down his old gang.

I've got three questions:
1) What was Billy Grey doing outside that got him arrested? At no point during that mission do we see him holding a gun. In fact, legally speaking, the police should have no interest in him whatsoever - he's outside of the building on the street. He might be a person of interest but realistically, they wouldn't be able to hold him on anything (apart from maybe parole violation? Maybe??). So I ask the question again - what the Hell did Billy do out there with no gun that got him arrested? And for that matter...
2) Why would Johnny call the cops when he's the one in an incriminating position? I understand that Brian has something to gain by pretending that Johnny called the cops because he had eyes on the presidency, but why is Billy saying that Johnny called them too? Apart from the fact that it makes no sense, there wasn't really any time for them to call the cops between the five seconds that they disappeared around the corner and the actual deal itself (and he knows Johnny couldn't have called the cops while standing in front of the Triads). All logic would dictate that Johnny should be the last suspect on his list.
3) Why doesn't Johnny just show Brian his Goddamn phone? This would really nip a lot of problems in the bud.
1. I believe he and Brian were trying to flee while Johnny and Jimmy were shooting their way outta the place but something happened to Billy that made him crash his bike, thinking Johnny had something to do with it (or he knew Johnny didn't have no part in that and was just trying to blame Klebitz knowing it would ruin the vice president's reputation in the chapter) alerting the cops, what caused Brian to believe it was better to wait for his "friends" to return.
2. Well, Everything Brian said about that had no embasement, he was just trying to make everyone believe it was Johnny who ratted them out, weather it was a lie or not, he just wanted Johnny to be seen as the traitor.
3. As Johnny said, he didn't have to prove anything, his councience was clean and that's all that matters, screw Brian.
I love your videos also major props for you barely taking cover while being shot at and sometimes being low on health and still finishing the misson

There are some theories that imply that Brian actually called the police to have Billy arrested and left Jim and Johnny to die with the purpose to become the leader of The Lost MC.

Agree. They are most annoying characters in TLAD. Billy is because of his selfish and arrogant attitude and rude asshole character, and Brian because of his whining, cowardice, blind loyality to Billy and insulting Johnny.
Yea I was confused seeing the lost come back in gta 5. Seeing how many people they lost in the ballot alone and how this dlc ends.

When they go to Chinatown, Tony gives Luis a suppressed P90 submachine gun and you're mostly fighting Triads anyway so, the only person that could call the police is Tony. Brian primarily just wanted Johnny and Jim out of the way so he called the cops on them who inadvertently took down Billy. He was going to finesse his way to the Chapter President title and make their lives hell.
I like to think that the incident that Billy busted took place sometime after Tony and Louis's little adventure in Chinatown.

Now that you mention it, by the way Brian behaves, it seems that he's trying to get the position of president or vice president of the club.
To me it feels like he's trying to get Johnnys position since he's constantly putting him down in Billys presence.
Brian could be smarter than he looks, since most of the chapter sided with him over Johnny.
Yeah but it never would’ve happened. In a club like this any position given is voted upon by the senior most members of the club. None of the senior members sided with Brian over Johnny. The only way Johnny and billy got their VP and president status was because Terry, clay, Jim, angus, and Brian voted them into those positions. Jim, Terry, clay, and angus would’ve never voted brian into VP.

The characters in this DLC are good enough for their own GTA game. It would be like a modern version of Red Dead Redemption II, where instead of a camp, you get a clubhouse to upgrade, more bike realism and gun mechanics.
10:19 In TBoGT, the gunshots were inside a building, easy to cover it up. In TLaD, the gunshots were on the outside, anyone passing by would witness it and call the cops.
Actually the consensus back in the day when this dlc released was that it was actually Jimmy that betrayed the Lost MC.
When the FIB calls Johnny, he was NOT the only one they called. Jimmy got called and with his wife a kid in the line... he chose his and his family over his Brothers
I never heard this theory before. However I don’t think that Jim would do that . But when I say Brian called the cops im more referring to in the moment . He probably didn’t even give his name and said some biker in Chinatown is shouting guns . He didn’t do it per day to avoid time but to take Billy ‘s position . Additionally if Jim did that he would be putting himself in massive risk because he’s in the middle of Chinatown shooting while Brian is hiding . That’s why I think Brian did it.
I can't see Jim being the treacherous type. I knew even when I played it for the first time that it would be Billy and Brian that betrayed the Brothers, as you can tell Brian being a kiss-ass was gonna cause trouble, and Billy was an asshole from the start.
My personal theory is that Billy was the one who called the police. He wanted to be arrested so he could have the chance to go into witness protection and start a new wealthy life. I think the fact that he acts so erratic and does things that go against the benefit of the club shows that he probably made a deal with the feds (while in jail before the game starts) to tear the Lost MC apart and hopefully get them all killed. It's no coincidence that the people who came along on this mission are the most important members of the club. Maybe Billy's plan was to get them arrested and leave the rest of the club to die at the hands of the Angels and Triads.

Yeah. One thing a lot of people don't realize is the police can and will lie to suspects. This includes claiming to have evidence they don't actually have, such as video footage or witnesses. The best thing to do if you're ever arrested is say nothing aside from requesting a lawyer.
I always found it weird how Malc and Johnny were friends but in GTA Online Malc gives you missions where you screw with the lost

The sad thing is that some lost member from GTA V think Johnny was unfit for chapter president and that Billy turned snitch was a lie. The Lost was truly damned, they should’ve been the main antagonists of GTA V alongside Madrazzo’s cartel, with Steve Haines and Devon Weston pulling the strings.

I have a similar theory about Brian. I think he called the cops, but not (only) become president but also blame Johnny, as Johnny is Vice President, he's the successor of the President so he wanted to knock him out or just straight up turn the Lost against him for "betraying" Billy

16:44 About Brian, I don't think he was the one who called the police. The Lost have a hierarchy, so if he wanted to be the President, he would have to take down Billy AND Johnny AND possibly Clay (captain). And it also gets in line with what Brian himself said earlier in the game, that "only dumb people get caught... apart from Billy, he got unlucky", well, Billy got caught again, so is he double dumb or double unlucky?
Also, the whole thing about who set who up (SPOILERS): in the Ballad is clear that Billy set Johnny up, but it backfired so bad that Billy actually was the one who went down. This mission and the one in the Ballad probably take place in different days, considering what happens with Luis in the beggining of the mission (his side of the story takes place at night and so does Johnny's, so Billy would have to have done all that in like a few minutes). Which is why the police is in one mission and not in the other, those are different days
But he did try to take down Johnny didn’t he ? He blamed Johnny for the whole thing rallying a bunch of people against him.
At the end in brians conversation. Its a common police tactic, they swest him and tell him someone else is rstting so he feels betrayed and rats. Brian was dumb enough to fall for the tactic and talked to them.
In the mission where you kill him,at the beginning brian is on phone and says "i wouldnt want to go to prison but id take it" i think hes making a deal

In gta 5 she did care of Johnny, since she reacted the way she did when he died. However that care didn't last long.
Shows you when you hang out with people with addiction than won't change damage you aswell. Roman did change and did better because of it. Ashley and Johnny went all downhill from the ending of TLAD

Stating by The Lost Fugitive in one of the random events in GTA5, the Angels of Death are finished, and they have no longer any current chapter which means that the gang has been destroyed by The Lost during the time between 2009 and 2013.
Somehow he gets his subs back really fast..

What if Johnny snitched? If you think about it, Billy was bad for The Lost & they were on probation, it was an easy way to eliminate him so Johnny could become the president. However, Johnny couldnt predict the Civil War that ensues & the destruction of the chapter, and as a result of guilt became a Meth Addict
Johnny never wanted to be leader he made that clear several times . He just wanted the lost to be run properly .
Like he says, Johnny sees The Lost as a sinking ship. He's loyal to them, but he doesn't see the presidency as anything but a liability.

I think Billy wants to get rid of Johnny and Jim on why he and Brian didn't back them up on the deal with the Triads and knew it would've turned sour but not having the LCPD show up he probably didn't count on that.
