Man, I was there. Cobo Arena in Detroit. We were still in middle school and bought the tickets from a buddy who happened to be grounded on the day of... I went with my crush, her mom drove us from the outskirts of downtown. First real rap concert I ever went to. Meth & Red opened up, I think even Ja Rule and Amilli were there too. Great times! We still talk about that night...
Thank God I got a chance to see him. Never got the opportunity to meet him but i had the chance to see X in ATL for Its Dark & Hell Is Hot 20th Anniversary Tour on April 12, 2019
Their concerts was lit, my older brother took me to one of them when i was a teen and it was incredible, everybody in the arena was going crazy, just watching this bringing me back memories.
I remember renting this on VHS from Blockbuster Video, only to discover a bootleg copy when I opened the clamshell. Apparently, the previous customer who rented "Backstage" switched the tape before returning it so he could have the official copy. Luckily, the clerk at Blockbuster didn't give me a hard time and simply let me switch the bootleg for their copy.
Somebody refresh my memory that clip at the start with jayz is rhyming on top of the table, wasnt that from his actual battle with dmx from back in the day
There will never be a tour like this this and up in smoke was the last time we ever see a show like this gone are the days of shows like this it's all about trashy festivals these days I would love to see all the old heads get together and put on massive shows
Won't happen lol .... The artist today don't have the same skill or personality smh .... Maybe if TDE, Tech 9, and Drake did a tour it might hold .... But that'll never happen!

4:40 "Shout out to X!" Jay was just the face for the industry guys to look at, he knew then that X was the real face of the people.
He said that because he's real too, he gives credit where credit is due.
