  • It was Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and Hurricane Andrew in 1992 that changed the way the public and government regarded the risk of hurricane damage to homes and roofs became a major focal point.

Wow… what wonderful reporting that they didn’t cover which roofing systems did best. This headline is the worst of clickbait.

Oh, so my roof can get damaged in a hurricane? Gee, that’s news. I saw pictures of metal roofs, but, nothing?

The best roof is the roof designed to handle the wind. PV panel installations are designed, most roofs aren’t.

After Ian: How did various roof types hold up to the storm? Didn't really answer the question . Thumbs down.

Metal roofs held up the best during Hurricane Ian, we went with a metal rood after Ian on our home.

So like, they were going to talk about the different roofs and how they held up, but didn't talk about the different roofs and how they held up. So not only does legacy Media suck when it comes to politics, now they just suck at everything?
