I thought about ghostface having a tome lore for a while, and yes i know he's technically licensed but that's only his mask, not the character so the possibility of ghosty getting a tome might be possible
Since he’s half licensed half original I’d say so. Dbd created Danny Johnson and since bill got a tome id say he could too. Not only that the license holders are very fond of ghost face in dbd
leaks say the pig and tapp are getting tomes soon, if they can get it I'm sure that ghostface has a massive chance to get it too

The teacher files were an old killer concept that was supposed to be in the game, but this is just a shot in the dark but the etched ruler addon on legion could've been a carry over from her
actually most of legions addons could be from the teacher since most of them are either legions personal items or school supplies
another example is stab wound study
Another shot in the dark, the teachers power was called Detention... could that have been what wound up becoming Pyramid Heads power?

Poor pinhead lines getting ghosted again
That was in Part 1. They don't have the rights to the voice so they can't put it in the game. They were likely in talks about it and that's why it was in the PTB, but then the owners decided not to go through with it. It sucks, but it's not their fault. It just means in the future they won't have voices in PTBs until they make sure to secure the rights for it given how much of a hissy fit everyone is having. And in my opinion that would be the smart move.

The last question was beautifully answered. I am so glad bhvr avoided those horror movie stereotypes. The jock, the mean girl and all those other cliches are the reason I don’t enjoy “horror” content. However the relatability of the dbd characters is what keeps me playing. Mathieu seems like a super chill dude. I freaking love the way he pronounced Elodie’s name! 😍

It’ll come! Has Felix had tome lore? I’d hope he and elodie would be tied together since they are the first survivors who knew each other IRL and share similar trauma
Additionally god I love Élodie. I love that contrary to Felix she like seemingly obsessively became hell bent on studying the occult and trying to figure out as much as possible about the entity and the aren’t situation.
When Mikaela was announced, I couldn’t help but wonder if there’s any potential weirdness between the two since one seemingly is researching the occult with the negative connotation due to the trauma, and one practices in the occult herself. I’d hope the difference would be that Mikaela only seems to be interested in simple light magic and making hippie soaps and cleansing bundles than being evil-lol.
Also, SO ready for elodies community cosmetic even though it’s very ironic to me that it’s intentionally like… seems like someone involved in the occult herself and besides the hair could even be a Mikaela skin. The snake on the back might have even been borrowed for Mikaela since the artist also included a backpack (why? Why cover the gold snake detail?).
And of course the locs and hair wrap are reminiscent to the sort of generic look of voodoo practitioners from New Orleans…
Hell yeah! Im existed about her community cosmetic as well! Im so happy her AfroPunk outfit won. I cant wait to see what BHVR has in store for her in the future.
But i dont want BHVR to just give her dresses and fancy cosmetics. I want them to go along the adventurous route with her style sometimes. Maybe boots and jackets with backpacks. Kinda like jakes tome cosmetic but less.. Torn? Up ? I guess. More along the line of what a investigator and adventurer would wear
@@jesusjohansen422 yeah totally… like a lot of current cosmetic pieces give that vibe like the pants from whatever the like winter hiking theme was where there are climbing hooks, etc.
I think they went in the right direction with her caver walker skin, but ideally I’d like that aesthetic to meet in the middle with more casual athleisure(sp?) wear.. like Lara Croft meets private investigator meets badass? Lol.
Also would like just some more cute casual fits like her default crop and jeans. Like BHVR always does these specific themes and I wish they’d maybe release not recolors but start offering random like head/hair, torso, and bottom pieces of casual stuff.
Like elodie in a slightly ripped black cropped band tee with like mermaid locs (I think that’s a nickname for a style of hair… it’s like what Halle Bailey wears often. Also can’t wait to see her as Ariel!!!) like long wavy locks with jewels and stuff throughout… short shorts, fishnets, and black combat boots.
I know multiple characters have the whole leather rocker/punk/edge lord look, but I always love seeing that representation on POC. Very Jaida Pinkett-Smith during her metal band days and Willow Smith now.
And as much as Megs sporty outfits bore me to sleep (so many of them… literally only use the 80s pastel windbreaker and the white tank with pink strap if I use a sporty look), i think elodie in like streetwear (better than that Claudette community cosmetics…) like.. idk how to explain but like a tank and sports bra with some sort of flattering bottoms that aren’t oversized gym shorts or ugly sweats…. With her hair pulled back in a bun and some slightly impractical gold hoop earrings.
Or even something like Meg’s tennis outfits/Claudette’s cute skirt + blazer outfits / Nea’s sweater and skirt outfits…. Since elodie grew up wealthy. Omg, yes… i know! A 90s stereotypical rich teen (would translate fine as adult) look a La the iconic plaid outfits from Heathers and Clueless-since she’d probably have went to a fancy uniform school anyway. But the uniform be modified to be edgier and more able to get a bit dirty in… white button down tied at the waist and like black combat boots with fishnets (maybe not the fishnets) and idk what style of hair… lol I’m so sorry for rambling
@@BellJarBoy when Elodie first came out and i read her lore, i found resemblances to Lara Crofts backstory and what she does.
When Elodie was young, her parents were taken by the entity. When Lara Was young, her parents died. Elodie Stole artifacts (mainly jewls) to sell to people for information. Lara steals artifacts and keeps them. Elodies Gala Imposter outfit reminds me of when Lara went to a Fancy party in Japan in Tomb Raider Legends. I don't know why lol

@@lordpean it would be like this. When the survivors are in a lobby with a killer they will know if the killer is trickster if you try to change to ji Woon and you don’t change. But if you change into ji Woon in lobby before game starts it would mean the killer is not ji Woon.

1 question I've always had is if there is a restriction to killers due to their size and technical issues regarding animations and in game mechanics. (Example: Chucky, Annabelle, Sam (trick r treat)) or even killers that might be to tall/big (i.e lady dimitriscu or something along the lines of that)
Nemesis has to be the same size as lady D. If not larger. Maybe I’m wrong.

Maybe if a single player part of DBD was done, it could be us experiencing (through gameplay) how each character got called into the Entity's realm.
For example, we could play Meg getting lost in the Entity's woods after XYZ.
Or we could play Rin (The Spirit) accept her fate after taking vengeance on her father and accepting the Entity's gift/curse.
To be able to play through those experiences would be amazing.

The devs answered that in the Q&A stream last week. They said it was much more complicated than most people think because of the way DBD is coded , packed, and ported so no plans for it.

Though I think Cote can be hypocritical at points even as a lead developer, his opinions on his own game mechanics are definitely fabricated- however, he is a well-spoken individual.
He doesn’t want to lie and promise big things but he just wants it known that there stuff in the works and his developing team are normal people like anyone else.
I thought it was funny that most of his questions really cannot be answered with a yes no or even a maybe/pass.
But it’s good to be passionate with your game like how Cote is and that is something to be respected.

I hope he meant what he said about licenses not needing to be so old to be worthy... I know what I'm about to say is quite a longshot, but... Bendy and the Ink Machine. Seriously. I would love to see a licensed chapter featuring Bendy (or Alice) as killer and Alison or Tom as the survivor(s). The map could be an Entity influenced version of the studio (Chapter 1 would be my bet, but chapter 3 would be epic). I realize it's very stylized, but if you think about it, when on that map, it's just a matter of the lighting to give characters the black and yellow-ish look like the original game. Meanwhile when they'd be on other maps, just influence their color schemes to be monochrome in a manner that matches a map's monochrome equivalent.

@@lordpean You think they can't tweak the style to make it work? Hell. They've been discussing the possibility of introducing characters from anime sources. How would you expect THOSE to be brought in if they didn't adjust their styles? Not to mention, Bendy and the Ink Machine is supposed to be set in a realistic place, but that it's all just a variant of monochrome within it. Alison angel is proof of that. Adjustments CAN be made to properly represent them in the game.

With the character diversity subject. I want mixed and indigenous representation. i always see characters that are vague in race or theyre just clear cut black or white or hispanic. I can never identify with them. I have 2 entirely different cultures in my life and I'm never more one than the other.

Hi king hope you are having a swell day i wanted to ask if you know of a streamer on here that goes by the name turjay if not i strongly recommend that you go watch his recent uploads because i feel the interview with cote was extremely a huge waste of time nothing about game health or anti cheat was mentioned and or balance the killers are suffering so badly ingame with the slew of hackers and people have reported it endlessly and nothing seems to be done about it they keep nerfing killers and ignoring player feedback and the overall balancing hacking game health and many more known issues the whole interview im sorry was not very informative nore helpful at all i feel the most important things that needed addressing were not addressed and im very disappointed in the whole aspect of the devs completely ignoring the problems that are causing their game to constantly become a huge chore to play as killer with the survivors having already endless chances and op perks times that by four cause there are 4 survivors plus their objective is way more easier than a killers and they keep nerfing killer to almost unplayable meanwhile with everything in the control of the survivors side theres also a hacking problem mostly on the survivors end they are the ones hacking but seems like nothing thats extremely important was addressed all there was was pinhead voicelines and cosmetics and maps we dont give a crap about that we care about the fairness and overall hacking issues balancing issues and so forth i feel the interview needs to be redone with all these things in mind please consider helping the game and the overall game health you and paulie dont seem to care so much about it seeing that yall main survivors mostly its so disappointing that the majority of the dbd community care more about maps and cosmetics instead of the overall game health anyways when vhs and prop hunt come out dbd will be in the toilet i hope yall see our side of this one day the devs are trash and dont care about the game truetalent has stated many times this is why he was kicked from the fog they dont take criticism very well most streamers are leaving dbd and noone cares or even notices the damage this goddamn game is and has caused the community very disappointed in the interview
Hey! I appreciate your concerns! Don’t get things mixed up though, we do care about the health of the game, hackers etc. as fog whisperers we have a direct connection with the devs that can fix those issues and can address them better. There we vent most of these frustrations, and tell them what’s going on. For the interview with Mcote, it’s not really his job to “fix the game” so most of the questions asked were tailored to what he does. He couldn’t go too specific about those things even if we asked as he wouldn’t know. I am also a killer main, always have been and I know of the hacker situation, it’s frustrating! All that were able to do at the moment is continue to mention this, show them what’s going on, and keep asking for updates on when it will be fixed. Whenever I get an update I’ll let you know! Trust me we care very much. I’ve been playing since the game came out and all I want for it, is for it to be fixed and playable.
@@TheKingGaming Hi thank you for responding i appreciate the context your comment spoke and i completely understand were you are coming from however i want to note that devs have not listened to any player feedback no changes to the most important problems have been addressed these issues have been ingame for more than a year now and i also want to note an idea i have maybe you can approve or disapprove but to stop facecamping maybe pause the entity process if killer is within 34 meters of a hook to compensate for that gens should be 120 seconds per one survivor 80 per two 60 per three itll give us more insensitive to chase and kick gens also ruin should not be a hex but instead of automatically regressing when survivors leave the gens they regress 150 percent after killer kicks a gen that will also give us insensitive to go kick gens the changes i elaborated above would make alot of sence and be fair for both sides like the hook progression pausing when we the killer is within 34 meters and ruin should be base with perk not a hex but only regresses after kicking gens and regression speed will only be 150 instead of 200 percent and the gen speeds I mentioned as well that to me will keep the game going there would be no facecamping and itll keep the players moving it gives them time to save their friends and us time to actually kick gens in my opinion the gen speeds are way to unrealistically fast and should be slowed to the numbers i mentioned above please let me know what you think of my idea also thank you for responding as well but with past experiences devs dont really cater to killers as much as survivors and the known issues have been brought to their attention many times but nothing has been done its very discouraging and disappointing anyways i do however hope you feel better soon just saw your recent upload stay safe and hope to hear from you thank you have a wonderful day 😁👍🤜🤛
I like the Diversity question because it also makes the Entity more *chilling*. It doesn't just pick certain kind of people that only show up in horror movies, it can kidnap anyone from anywhere and no one is ever safe.
But didn't it already do that? How is this more chilling?
@@coletrainhetrick Maybe I worded it poorly? I'm not saying it makes the Entity more chilling NOW, but that it makes it more than other horror movie monsters. If the survivors were the horror movie archetypes it'd be easier to distance yourself from them, maybe even find them funny, but if you can relate to these characters you empathize with them, even if just a little.
@@samniel I guess it's just a little odd to me. Typically from what I've seen horror movies have always been the most diverse film genre. The first ever film to feature a black lead in which his race wasn't mentioned as a factor in the film was Night of the living dead for example. They invented a convention in which the final survivor is almost always a Woman whom defeats the killer with a method not defined by their gender. Horror movie monsters and villains don't really care either. Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, leatherface, etc never really target anyone in particular. Monsters would be radically less inclined to care unless you are talking about thankskilling.
