It can be changed as the game progresses, it is up to the coach depending on how the team is doing. Players playing on the right side will switch to the left if the match ups call for it
You think football is static game like baseball? People are running all over the place and the formations are changing constantly depending on the general strategy given by a coach or on the immediate situations created on the pitch
Basically the 3-5-2 shown in the video. It's a relatively good formation that allow switches throughout the game but also require players able to play out of position/versatile, especially forwards need to know how to play wider and at least one of the midfielders need to follow up in offense when one of the forwards move to the side. But overall it cover everything needed on the midfield and with great counter attack options. Having a good centre back that can move the ball to join the midfield also helps the offense. Weakness would be that at least one striker should also have endurance enough to drop down for defensive work or you have a one man disadvantage on that end.
I know im 2 years late but noone calls it 3-2-3-2, just 3-5-2. The five midfielders, although assembled in a 2-3 pattern should work together and be a solid 5 as a unit.

Also, offensive midfielder has the highest soccer iq however is also limited physically. what formation would you suggest. We are talking about 13 years old
Ha it sounds like you know where they're most comfortable playing. I would say it's also important for kids to play every position at some point if they haven't already. I started out a defender, played a lot of forward, but then around age 16, I really settled in my preferred defensive midfielder role. 3 defenders is probably a good call at that age though

(Cruyff: they copied this style from the Hungarian 1940ies style) Like this every player has much more freedom because everybody plays every position. This is tactical Football!!! Basically all formations are just variations of each other. They can all interchange quite easilly.
I like a 3-2-3-2, but you obviously need the correct personnel. If you've got 2 strong defensive/holding mids, this formation is fun.
