Great teaching. I keep full spray bottles hanging around the property so one is readily available if needed. I have actually had to resort to buckets of water with one particularly hard headed buck who became immune to the spray bottle. That did the trick.
A very good and timely reminder, as my little goats are getting to the stage which such training is necessary. Also, I would love to see the video of the milking routine.
Perfect timing brother! Thank you. I've got 6 that were born in April and never had this many at once before. This lesson is definitely gonna save me. And Amen to your parting message. Gotta drop the attitude And start making with the gratitude From every long and latitude The world you make is up to you.
Just like to add there is nothing like the relationship between your goats and you,(their human). Since I believe we were all created, it is as though we were literally made for each other.
I couldn’t agree more. Only Father Himself knew how much I would love and be blessed by having goats, which I knew nothing about when the first one came to me; because He instilled that love of goats in me. Not everyone has it; some people really dislike goats. Even Yeshua puts them on His left while the sheep go on His right - not saying He dislikes goats; but they are a stiff necked, hard headed, disobedient, rebellious tribe.
@ellenlefavour628 The other thing about the sheep vs. goats thing in the Bible is sheep and goats actually look very similar. I had a health inspector from the town come to look how I was keeping my goats. I wasn't there at the time, and the inspection was good, but he wrote it up as 9 sheep! That's why it's a good thing the Father is the one who does the discerning when it comes to judgment. I used to read those passages as sheep good, goats bad, but now I see it as they're just different, and it takes the Chief Shepherd who will do the sorting.
I need to start doing this with my goats. They're older, but I'm guessing it will work with them as well. I hate when they rush the gate whenever I want to go into the pasture.
The Bums Rush. :D A loud Hawaiian throws them off immediately! But, I know that's temporary. I've come to think it's because they only see me at feeding time and expect Food every time they see me? Is that logical to you?
It is, but they would still bum rush you even if you came multiple times a day cause they’re excited for both food and interaction. They just need to learn how to do that with good manners.
Amen at the end - nothing comes to us but that our Father in heaven allows it, and it is always for our good, so in everything give thanks; for this is the will of Yah in Yeshua HaMashiach for us.
They are so beautiful! And I agree with you...goats are very inteligente

Thank you Mark! Absolutely perfect timing!

Awesome tip, hopefully I can get my herd under control now. Thank you

Spray bottle has been working great for me with my goats thanks for the idea.
Excellent information. I use the squirt bottle with my goats as well. I've definitely learned from your video and will be more consistent.

@@davidjohanson8964 I love it - thank you for that revelation. A friend who has both always says: “tail up - goat, tail down - sheep”.
Thank you!
Great video. This seems like it would work for dogs too

I do exactly this w my Icelandic sheep! (a rather ‘goaty’ breed of sheep).
I’d like to try packing w them :)
Yes! Lol this is a great video! I use a squirt water gun!!
This is a wonderful video. Thank you! The goats are probably thinking that it's worth the water spray in order to jump on Daddy. 😎

Can i use this method with a goat ive had for @one year. He has started butting me and i don't want to get hurt or him hurt someone else.
Only way to find it is try it out.
Thank you. I did, it worked but i didn't like it. We now have a good working relationship .
