    Great - excellent didactics - video. When I started playing the tune with my trio few months ago, I came up with very comparable voicings. One difference: I use the #11 in measures 4 and 8 as melody tone (on the Bb7 and the Eb7); for some reason 50% seem to play it with #11, 50% with the F and the Bb

    Words fail me. I'm on vacation this week and set a target of 3 hours a day on piano. It's been moving further up each day, to about 6 hours a day, because I keep finding wonderful things to practice, and this is definitely one of them.
    (I sure do talk a lot for somebody who says words fail him.)

    Hi! Thank you for a great lesson. I have a question - why in first part of melody there is end of phrase have resolutions “f” instead of “e” and in second phrase “bB” instead of “a”? It’s because of open voicing chords?
