Sizing baby knits is so difficult! I liked Amy Herzog's sweater books because they help with choosing the right silhouette for your body. I like the idea/look of cropped sweaters but I think I could only wear them over a dress... Mommy tummy is real!
I'll look for that at the library, it's been awhile since I read it! Yes, mommy belly is a beast to dress but once you figure out flattering silhouettes I'm hoping it's easier!
Why not pick up stitches at the top and knit a stockinette facing you can stitch down to hide the floats on the Christmas Stocking? It may be a better alternative than ripping it out!!
