Reyca-san, Happy New Year! Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you liked this video! The petal ice cream tasted delicious, although unfortunately, I couldn't taste the flowers because of the rich milk flavor!😅 May 2024 be a wonderful year for you!🥰
Hello. Thanks for the great video. It was very interesting to watch your adventures. I liked Omiya temple the most. Its territory looks like the scenery for some movie. And little Godzilla, one love. I recently learned that there was an earthquake in Japan.😭 I hope everything is fine with you and your loved ones.🙏 Take care of yourself and nature.
Happy New Year again, Aston-san😉, and thanks for all your comments. I also want to express my gratitude for your concern. I was watching a movie when the earthquake happened, and I was surprised when all the cell phones in the audience started ringing with earthquake alarms at once! Fortunately, my area was only shaken a little, and there was no damage, but the Sea of Japan area was seriously affected. I hope those in the affected area can return to their normal lives soon! The Omiya Shrine had a very mystical atmosphere. The tree was so big that I was tempted to climb it, but the monkeys were watching me from above, so I decided not to.😅 By the way, Godzilla is supposed to have died when he fell into Mt. Mihara, a volcano on Oshima. That's why Godzilla is in front of a sushi restaurant! 😁 Have a lovely weekend and a wonderful start to the new year✨
Kon-banwaJonathan-san! Thanks again for your comment. I was lucky enough to see the beautiful morning glow of Mt. Fuji! I am so glad you liked it! Please come to Japan someday to see the beautiful scenery!😉I'll be waiting for you!
Wow, I'm totally hooked on this Izu Oshima adventure! 🚲 Your solo journey Atsuko-san is seriously giving me all the wanderlust feels. I wanna travel again soon! Those sunsets, the nights on the road, and the island views are absolutely mesmerizing!
Kon-nichiwa😁Anthony-san Thank you for watching my videos. Mt. Fuji, your favorite mountain, looked beautiful from Oshima!😉 And I am sure you will like the scenery from the ship on the way to and from the island. I'd love to go with you if I get a chance.
Wow! The views were GORGEOUS! Like picture postcards! It has always amazed me that Tokyo also includes islands out in the ocean. People tend to forget that, and think it's only on Honshu. And like the lakes, mountains, and forests in Tokyo 'proper', this stunning place you brought us along on, amazes, and then dispels the stereotype of what Tokyo is like. This very economical trip is a great way to see the beauty of Japan! Thank you so much for posting these videos for us, Atsuko san!
Akemashite Omedetou Gozaimasu (Happy New Year in Japanese).😁Douglas-san. Thank you once again for your comments, The scenery you praised as being like a postcard is probably the morning glow of Mt. Fuji. 😁 I feel fortunate to have captured the stunning colors of Mt. Fuji from Oshima. I've heard that the volcanic activity at Oshima's crater is comparable to the volcanoes in Hawaii! I hope to share a video of the volcano next time I get the chance. Speaking of islands, I'd like to visit the Thousand Islands that I saw on a travel show. They featured a beautiful castle in that program! Actually, I'm a fan of Thousand Island Dressing. I enjoyed it with broccoli for lunch today!😋 Wishing you a fantastic 2024, filled with joy, adventure, and new discoveries, Douglas-san. 😊 いつもありがとう😍
自転車で敦子さんの旅行 👏 This looked like a fun and exhausting adventure, who would have though there was so many climbs on the coast 😅. But it was worth it for sure ! 富士山 looks great as usual 🤘. I also particularly liked 大宮神社 (コンニチワ 木霊さん !) またありがとう敦子さん。You will soon make us visit everything in Japan we won't have to move haha 😁 (just kidding ofc we will come to see it with our own eyes ! And to eat 😋)
Eodis-san, thank you for your comments and あけましておめでとうございます‼本年もよろしくお願いします🎍Bonne Année ! Oshima was more hilly than I expected, so I had to get off the bike and walk a lot; consequently, I couldn't visit some of the other places I had planned. I wish I could have shown you more of the beautiful scenery in the video, but alas! The trees at Omiya Shrine were very nice, although the monkeys kept looking at me from above!🐵 I hope Eodis-san will come to Japan to see and experience many things firsthand, especially the food😋Tous mes voeux de bonheur à Eodis-san pour 2024.✨
Hi Atsuko-san, again, love this video (and your other videos, too). By chance I walked to Takeshiba Terminal today and recalled your video, so I went in there to see further information. Unfortunately most of the flyers are all in Japanese. I also checked out Tokaikisen website and see the tickets are quite costly. The deal you took in this video is somehow under a promotion, right? Thank you so much. Ah by the way, much appreciated if you can share the infor of the camera/retouch software you used in this video 😊😊, I have no experience in camera but the fact that your videos are so beautiful makes me wanna have one for future travel. Arigatou gozaimasu!
Hi! Linh Nguyễn-san😆Arigatou for your comment during your trip. The Izu Islands, including Oshima, are in peak season during the summer, so the fares are higher. However, there is a summer version of the tour I participated in. It’s available for departures from Monday to Thursday in July only. Here is the link, and you need to make a reservation by phone at least one day in advance: www.tokaikisen.co.jp/news/561464/ The price is higher than in winter, but it's cheaper than buying a regular ticket! The view of Tokyo Bay is particularly beautiful, so if you have time, I highly recommend experiencing it. Just be aware that this tour doesn’t specify which island you will visit, so be prepared for that when you book. When it comes to filming, I use my iPhone camera (my iPhone is 13 Promax) I usually film at 4K 60fps so I think that's why my videos are clear. I also use some Luts for color grading. I recommend the website "freshLUTs"! Here you can get good Luts for free! By the way, I saw your wedding photos! They are amazing!! Congratulations on your wedding!!😍😍
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Hey Atsuko-san, awwww it's so nice of you to say that. And thank you so much for your detailed guidance - as always - about the trip and the camera too . Then I will follow your advice. Have a nice week ahead!!
@@LKnguyen1 If you have the chance, definitely try taking a ride on the Tokai Kisen ferry. Trekking in Okutama in the heat must have been tough, even though it was fun! Please take a good rest and come back to Japan again! Wishing you a wonderful start to your week, Linh Nguyễn-san🥰Matane!
Minifix-san, Happy New Year, and thank you for your comments! That is the company flag of Tokai Kisen. I also thought it was similar!🤔 However, the design of Tokai Kisen's flag is slightly different from the Norwegian flag. The red on this flag symbolizes the rising sun and represents passion and hope, while the cross signifies the company's wish for its fortunes to grow and expand majestically on the world's oceans. It would be great if I could go to Norway with that ticket!🤣
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether Happy New Year! And thank you for taking the time to explain. It's very impressive that you know so much about a small detail like this company flag. As usual you made an interesting video, with great editing. You are most welcome to Norway!! 😊 The food here is not as good as Japan's, but I have a feeling you might enjoy the nature. Although you'd need a different ticket, for sure 😅
