      Loreal owns both Maybelline makeup found in any local drugstore for under $20 AND Lancome makeup minimum $50 and up ONLY found in high end department stores. You would think it's the same makeup but price is different according 2 target audience. It's hard 2 believe they're manufactured differently to explain the price difference but that's what they say is the reason.

    Defendant claimed the sneakers had been up for a long time with no complaints. Plaintiff said the price was a good one, $450 for $800 sneakers, so he jumped on it. If the price was that good, why hadn't they already been snapped up?

      I don't buy them, but I'm assuming it's because of the availability of these particular shoes at the time. If stores were offering them at $200, but most stores in your area are sold out and you really want the shoes to show off, there will be people willing to buy used ones for more because they want them that badly.

      As to your second sentence, it wouldn't have mattered. You can't claim that something you are selling is authentic when it is not. Fraud is against the law, regardless of posted policy. As to your first sentence, yes it would have been smart to do so. The only reason plaintiff is getting his money back is because of this show. In normal small claims court, even if he'd won he almost certainly would never have been reimbursed.

    I disagree with the plantiff getting his money back, there was no expert to testify in person, how do we know the pair he claims was the real pair wasn't the fake pair? Not only that but the plaintiff complained about how there was a glare on the picture how there wasn't a real box but he saw them in person and still made the choice to buy them 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

    that rubber pattern is pretty much the same. The shoes are different sizes....by a fair bit....so that's why the stripe is longer/ shorter, and the pattern is more squished on the one. The colours a bit different on the stripe, but hey, who knows how many times the friend's sneakers were worn and washed? The colour is better on the "fakes" anyways.

    Arrested. Why did she have to go there? Don’t get me wrong if he knew about the shoes being fake, that’s wrong and he should have to pay. But also there is buyers beware too. The plaintiff should have did his research before purchasing. But I guess what really got me is when the judge said she would have him arrested! I have watched people’s court daily, multiple times a day. And this by far is not the worst case I’ve seen. To threaten to put this man in jail for $450 is crazy to me! I really wish she didn’t say that. Ugh now I’m looking at her differently ugh 😩

    Coming from a generation that felt lucky to have two pairs of shoes, one dress pair and one pair of sneakers for the summer, I find it unconscionable that someone would pay $900 for a pair of sneakers or $450 for used ones. The millennials and Gen Z ers will have to work until they die because they'll never have savings or a 401k to falll back on.

    Defendant shady & he knew dang well they were fake. JM should have had him arrested for selling merchandise under the fraudulent claim they were authentic. Sure hope he doesn’t convince some other dense guy to pay big $$ for them!! Lol!

    Yeezy sneakers are made in china. I wouldn't consider buying them for that reason alone, you can already get chinese sneakers for way cheaper than that.
