Nice work bid, just a tip, I saw you sanding off the oxides after the coffee. You are defeating its purpose. Coffee is food safe and should be left to dry and coated with oil then wax, then sunshine cloth to rupp of the brownish tinge. Makes a huge difference. I used to sand off the coffe then i was shown in person by smiths better then I, that its was wrong
I agree totally with the better finish from ferric, i watched a bunch of guys go all in on the gator piss, it looks good because it’s a little different but that chatoyant kinda flash is my favorite part of the etch. Great job again as always
Thanks dude. I really wanted to love Gator Piss. I think I need to forge and finish two similar blades and etch them side by side in ferric and Gator Piss for a better comparison. Thanks for watching! 🤙
I couldn't be any happier with how this turned out! You are a true craftsman and it shows through your work. This is truly the highlight of my collection and has become such a conversation piece around the barbecue pit. Thank you so much brother. 3/5 Get Some!
Hey buddy, that's awesome to hear. I'm glad you're loving the knife, and I really appreciate getting to make it for you. I'm stoked to get to work on your matching cleaver too! Get some! 🤙

Thanks a lot for the advice! I really appreciate that. I'll have to give the sunshine cloths a try. 🤙

I’m filling squirrelly and your kiln stinks… stinks of awesomeness…. I would love have your set up one day! Awesome stinkin video brother🤟
😂 thanks buddy! I may fill in some of the excess space with fire bricks at some point. That would certainly help. Thanks for watching dude! 👊
