I really do like this tank quite a bit! I think more than any other 'beginner' tank, this one invites the viewer to try out a scape. The addition of the 'greening', with a simple substrate and slow growing plants is an excellent addition to the toolkit. Not only is it a beautiful tank, bit it just looks Fun to behold

It turned out really lovely. I like these kinds of set ups because it is something someone could do if they already have a tank set up. It's a great way to get plants in without having to start from scratch.

A lovely little starter setup! Personally I'd be a bit apprehensive about that foot/stand thingie under the tank with the glass overhanging, but I'm sure Superfish know what they're doing😄And this just shows how one can create a very good-looking tank with only minimal rocks, wood and plants, keeping it very budget-friendly. Well done, well done indeed! On the previous video when you placed the sofas, I was actually thinking that empty corner needed at least something like a side table or something, so this is perfect!
Knowing MD, I give those sofas four months, tops, before they are shoved out of the way to make space for more tanks. I think some time in January, they'll be gone for a new years project. 😂
i have a smaller version with a similar design and still totally fine after about 2 years. That is with train passing within a few meters of the apartment, generating quite some vibration somtimes.
I have to agree. I'm certain testing was done, but glass overhanging the base just does not sit right with me. Small tanks may pose less of an issue, but I think of the wrong pressure downward on the side(s) - by an accidental external source - and a much larger potential for breakage. That Said...
tank design is not your doing, and the scape is, as always , amazing!

I have 3 different skittles colonies and they still produce all colors… I currently have blue, red, and green babies. I’ve also had some interesting variations. That’s part of the fun in my opinion. You never know what you’ll get.

If you have a deligated parking space for you building you should look into getting 20 foot shopping container for you 'shop' and will free up alot of space.

Purple light! Also love this tank! If I ever breakdown my 10 gallon tanks to rescape I will try this! For now I have a lot of red cherry shrimp breeding and in the other pigmy cory catfish breeding just as accident but I cant go disturb them now! ❤

Its surprising what genetics do in shrimp I have a 5 year old colony of cherry that threw a lot of wild types out now they have gone back to red rili and some snowballs have appeared !

Here’s a challenge for you. Create a tank (not a nano) where you only use 4 pots of plants MAX! No major planting, mostly hard scape with whichever fish you choose.
I did ALL sorts of "Skittles" and I barely have any brown... I did get zebra red and white/(clear) , clear with a green spot, clear / black leopard LIGHT yellow , LIGHT green , and green... Probably some I've forgotten and some I haven't seen yet,
I need to start separating the new colors 😉

Probably going to get 1 of those tanks. Quite happy with the smaller version, although they didn't have a pro where I got it. So no light included. It's the tank that actually got me into shrimp after buying the last 5 from the store. 4 red ones, 1 brown 😉. still getting plenty of red babies.

Thanks. Keep the nutrients low with water changes and keep the bio load low (don't overstock)

I love the scape, and I love shrimp. I've had hundreds. It's strange, though, that all I hear on the shrimp groups is shrimp need "mature" tanks of like six months, but here they are!
