Hey there, I love this video and the outcome. I'd love to mention a tip I learned from Michael Pavlovich. If you want to repeat a brush stroke, instead of going over that same area multiple times, make your brush stroke and hit '1' to repeat brush stroke. This is great for many projects, it only count's one brush stroke and it does count moving the camera as one stroke so I would be cautious about that. You can search Zbrush repeat last stroke to learn more, hope this helps. :) Love your work!
Thank you! Being an adept at traditional sculpting - I don't use much in ZBrush. In my opinion, such tools hinder the development of the sculptor. I prefer to try everything a thousand times. Ctrl+Z is a magical enough thing. ;)
Nossa que vídeo top! Parabéns pelo trabalho que ficou show👏👏 E podendo ver seu passo a passo, me ajudou bastante a compreender alguns assuntos que ainda não havia pego em meus estudos. valeu cara!
Нашел тоже красный способ. Можно взять орнамент с пикчи, почистить в фш с помощью каналов или вручную и альфой закинуть сразу на объект или так же через маску. Для абстрактных может и не подойдет, но вот для символов и букв отлично заходит.
Thanks for sharing your process! I really had no idea how I would approach this kind of armor before this video. I'm just wondering if you're painting them and baking it for games, would be really cool if you had a process video for that
I'm glad this was helpful to you. I make models for 3d printing. Highpoly only. Everything that is connected with baking and other things, I do not do.
hmm, I sculpt in blender and have never seen anyone use alpha to create the small dots on the armor( don't know what to call it), what a trick :v I steal it, thank you
Thank you. Glad it was helpful for you. Yes, right. This is for 3d printing. Thin parts need to be made thicker. Also, there should be no negative spaces in the model. Otherwise, it will not be a quality product. After printing, the model will crack, resin will flow out of it, and supports will also kill all the detail.
It's very nice that you eat smart. But, why should I waste time on UV, photoshop, symmetry and other optimization? I make printable models, my pipeline is close to clay modeling. I love doing details in ZBrush, I just fucking love it. And I hate sweeps, low poly, textures and other evil spirits. This is my channel with blackjack and whores, and I show here how I do it. If I do this, it means I feel so comfortable, it means I like it that way, and so on. I don't ask for advice or give unsolicited advice. I would recommend this position to everyone. Tralalala.
Hey, Thanks for the kind words. I am not using any extra alphas in this video. Perhaps you mean the standard Zbrush Dam_Standart. I'm sure you can find it in the list of brushes in the program. :D
Hold down control to bring up mask brush the enable backface masking and you will avoid the mask appearing on the opposite side of the model. which gets very irritating lol
@@ARJKalobas at the beginning when you start painting the mask on the front of the model for the design. I noticed that depending on your camera angle that mask would also paint on the back and tky would go back and forth to delete the extra mask. To avoid this while you have mask selected (hold ctl) go to brush drop-down, scroll down and click backface masking. Now when you paint your mask on the surface it won't also paint it on the other side
also even if you want to make it game ready you just bake it into the low poly he had at the beginning, you do not retopo all these little details lmao

Fico feliz que isso tenha sido útil para você. Obrigada.
I learn a lot from this, thank You so much!!! Greetings from Argentina
I'm incredibly glad this was helpful to you. Thanks for the kind words. =)

Да верно. Это сработает.
Very nice!
Thanks!

Love your art dude, do you have an Artstation? Thanks for sharing the workflow
Thank you! Yes, all links in profile. www.artstation.com/arjkalobas_3d_print
You should use brush-automasking - backface setting, this will disable mask duplication on opposite side of model.
I like doing double work. I like to turn off the masks and then turn them on. And turn it off again. It's incredibly productive and fun.
Great Method|
Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching! Glad it was helpful to you.
Thx for sharing)
My pleasure. Thank you for your interest)
Nice! it will be more cooler with audio, a little hard surface tutorial maybe?
Thank you. No time for sound. Tutorial is unlikely. I'm just sharing my workflow.
I'm glad you said this .. I was going nuts checking my sound settings and connections.

Fantastic work. I notice you said that this was for 3d print. How do you deal with thin areas that are easily to break?

Very nice, but If you have nice symmetrical UVs, its way easier to do all these details in Photoshop

can u tell me how u doing straight line with damstandard brush multiple time please
Just use the shift key. =)
Hey, beautiful art. I'd like to ask you were can I get this alpha that you used for standard's brush ? Looks simple but really useful :D
Hey, Thanks for the kind words. I am not using any extra alphas in this video. Perhaps you mean the standard Zbrush Dam_Standart. I'm sure you can find it in the list of brushes in the program. :D
@@ARJKalobas Hey, I meant alpha that you used in 40:30 minute. I couldn't find this alpha in basic palette.
@@majkelg2761 Ah, it seems I made it from an elongated spherf. Now I don't remember. I haven't used it for a long time and I don't have this alpha.

@@jburgs100 It's a cool way. =D But I usually use brush=>automasking=>backfacemask
But that's not the case here. I love to annoy. ;)

how can we make the first simple armor ?
If you mean blank, then use extract and zmodeller. Resolution 0.1.
goodluck retopolizing it
Why do I need retopology? This is a print model. Clever?
also even if you want to make it game ready you just bake it into the low poly he had at the beginning, you do not retopo all these little details lmao
