Hi there! I'm new to your channel. You are so right. I always say comparison is the thief of joy! I just started making FT videos, and after the first couple, I told my spouse how bummed I was because I couldn't even get to 1,000 subscribers. Then I said, "Becky, first of all, you're way too old to care what others think🥰. Second, I'm making videos because I want to document my crafting journey for myself, my kids, and my grands! And because I love sharing with others. My spouse had to remind me to just keep doing it because I love it. I was hurt at first that some of these "big Flosstubers" were giving shout-outs to new FTers but not me. Lol. Silly! Must be after cancer emotions lol. We laughed, and I said, "Becky, stop! Who cares?" You're deciding to document your crafty makes, sewing, quilting, and stitching for yourself, which is huge because you beat breast cancer last year. Whoever loves your videos, great! You won't be everyone's cup of tea. So, I guess with my long message, I want to say thank you for this reminder to this old woman flosstuber and crafter. I'm glad I found your channel! I wonder if people thought of their craft supplies the same way as all those unused jars, canned goods and out of date herbs and spices on the shelf .
