World's First Alligator Wedding!

- Soni and Chompers, my two rescued alligators, are FINALLY getting married! To our knowledge, this is the FIRST TIME EVER two alligators have ever gotten married! The two American Alligators were separated by a barrier under the bridge in the Alligator House for nearly four years. We had them separated because Soni, our male, was so much bigger than Chompers. It was clear though the two alligators wanted to meet! The alligator barrier was interfering with true love, so in March, I invited my friends Danny and Savannah from @gatorlandvlogs to help me introduce Soni and Chompers. And the rest in history...The two lovebirds have been absolutely inseparable since the introduction and it's time they stop living in sin. It's time Soni and Chompers tie the knot! With the help from my friend Heidi, from Ira and Lucy Wedding and Events, we planned the world's first Alligator Wedding! We also built the alligator's a new outdoor pool with the help from my friends at City Of Trees Construction and with a donation from Kerry Hill Winery. Will the new outdoor alligator pool leak before the wedding? Will Soni and Chompers make it outside in time for their beach wedding? This is the most adorable event ever! I’ve been so excited to see this since I saw the announcement! The theme turned out gorgeous! I love the outdoor pool! Once they got over their shyness, I think they were actually enjoying the festivities! The cake and sweets looked amazing! I love that the officiate called on Sobek! That’s so appropriate for an alligator wedding! And the music with the altered alligator lyrics! The violinist is always a treat! And that pizza cone looks amazing! Everyone worked so hard and did an amazing job! What a day to remember and celebrate! Perfect!

I got teary eyed when those two alligators were chilling on their new pond while all these were going on. They were being touchy with each other for all the world to see, as opposed to how secretive they were on the first few weeks they met. ❤

I know that everyone worked hard to prepare for this wedding and the celebration was great! You had a violinist, a dance party, a outdoor pool, flowers and so much more!
