    Fantastic inflight video.The sound of the turboprop engines is outstanding.

      Thanks mate. Yes, turboprop makes a different style of music from piston engines.

    I know the dash8 isn't the most comfortable plane to fly in, but I love being a passenger in one. My first ever flight was a dash8 and I was so excited.

    A very happy sounding little plane. Seemed like it wanted to fly forever :-)

    I didn't know qantas drove you to Bundy Ha ha ha. Ive done this trip hundreds of times over the years and never taken off from that runway it. must be new since I flew last. Only once I remember the pilot driving back and forth looking for a safe takeoff zone. The pilot promised he wasn't driving us to Bundy, there was a really bad storm and it was the bounciest trip ever, it was so bad by the time we got near Bundy they started contemplating returning to Brissy. I didnt think I would fly again lol. Thankfully most of the flights were smooth like this one.plane✈

    This might be the quietest Q400 video I have watched. I guess the noise and vibration system works on this aircraft.

      Yes, the active vibration suppression system must be working properly. It not, it looks like this: ruclips.net/user/shortsKgpFO2LvOBw

    15.00 nice how they stop one engine to save fuel i guess ?

    • @DrBearAviation
      @DrBearAviation  2 месяца назад +1

      Ground taxi on one engine will save fuel, reduce noise, and lower the risk of propeller damaged by object on apron.

    Suddenly you're already on the plane, even though you went around the airport first, it's better to have a bad video
