    Lt. Cdr. Bijay Nair (Retd), aged 43, is an avid runner and an Indian Naval Veteran who graduated from the erstwhile Naval Academy, Goa (presently known as INS Mandovi). He dedicated ten years of service to the Navy. He retired in the rank of Lieutenant Commander earning numerous medals and accolades. Notably, he played a crucial role in Operation Talwaar during the Kargil War in 1999, being decorated with Ops Vijay Star and Vijay Medal.
    In recognition of his exceptional service, he received commendations from the Flag Officer of the Western Naval Command in 2003 and 2004. Furthermore, in 2006, he was honored with the prestigious Chief of Naval Staff commendation.
    Presently, Lt. Cdr. Nair (Retd.) serves as the Associate Vice President at the National Ship Classification Society in their Promoted Organisation. In this role, he oversees Quality, Compliance, and Audits. He holds a postgraduate degree in Marine Specialization and Weapon Controls from the Navy, complemented by an MBA from JBIMS.
    Beyond his military and professional pursuits, Lt. Cdr. Nair is a skilled blogger and writer, showcasing a flair for humor. He is the accomplished author of the bestselling book titled "#TheyInspire," which has garnered significant acclaim, having sold close to 3000 copies. This inspirational book stands out in its collection of stories about ordinary individuals who have achieved extraordinary feats.

    Lt. Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.) served as the Youngest Panelist on the Officers' Selection Board of the Indian Navy. He is the youngest Group Testing Officer to have served in the Indian Armed Forces since 1947!
    Lt. Cdr. Nikhil KC (Retd.) has also served in some coveted appointments onboard frigates in the Western Fleet of the Indian Navy, on ships of Killer Squadron, legacy bearer of 1971 war. He was also Aide-De-Camp of the Admiral Commanding Maharashtra and Gujarat Naval Area.
    As Captain of the Warship - Indian Naval Immediate Support Vessel T-15, Senior Officer, ISVs (West), he spearheaded a team of 16 officers and 102 men to defend Oil-Field Exploration Areas on the Western Seaboard of India. He and his team were featured in a documentary shot by India Today TV which was aired on National Television on 26 Jan 2017.
