this is an awesome video, i am printing it right now. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I love how your watching the potter collector in the back ground.
Oh yeah Peter is great!!! :D I actually misread what you said before I thought you said the potter collection so I thought you meant the movies lol but then I realized you meant Peter (potter collector) Peter is awesome love watching his channel too :) Thanks again :D
Lol well I guess but the only step before is the printing of the parts :p which I thought would be pretty dull to watch lol Thank you 🙏🏻 I thought it turned out pretty great to :)
@@fandombuilds6701 hello! Is there any chance that you are willing to sell me the pieces of the sword unpainted and unassembled or anything. Unfortunately, i cannot afford a 3d printer, so I was hoping you could sell me the pieces. Thanks!
Hey looks good I was wondering what orientation did you use for the 3d printing the different parts. I have been able to print the pommel and the handle in resin but I'm struggling with the cross guard. Thank you
Oh this is a good question I also had to try out a few different orientations But I believe what I did in the end was set it at an angle with the pointed top section away from the print bed. Because I figured the easiest place to have the supports and also be able to clean it up after easily would be the under side of the cross guard. So I set it vertical at a slight angle so the connecting side to the handle wasn’t level with the print surface. I found that it adhered and printed better if I set it at an angle instead of adhering directly and level to the print surface. I hope that made sense. Let me know if you other questions 😁
@@fandombuilds6701 Thank you I also found I needed to beef up my supports help also and now print out just fine. Im trying out printing the whole thing in resin
@@shmecky2818 I’d definitely do that to! 😁👍 I did the entire handle in resin then the blade in pla. The rubies I used a red transparent resin. If you wet sand then and clear coat they should turn out great! Post some pics when you finish, I’d like to see how it turns out :)
Great question! You should be able to able to apply the graphite as soon as the glossy black paint was dry. But make sure before you apply the graphite to wipe down and make sure there is no fingerprints or oils on the part. After the paint has dried you can wash it with soap and let it dry. Then once dry apply the graphite. I hope that was helpful :)

So after to sorting out, I may be able to help you out. I’m going to try to set up some of these to purchase on my Etsy page So I’ll post when that happens Though if you still only want a unpainted/only printed version I’m sure I can still do that also.

Always impressive!
Also, the video quality is fantastic
Love how the video starts with 80% of it done lol
Nothing wrong with that, as the end product looks amazing.

Did you purchase the Alchemy font? I have a demo, but since it’s a demo, the O is crossed out. I can’t seem to find any other free font that matches.
@@Lyn-t4s no :( I believe the font was baked into the original model file.
Are you looking for a font to embed in a custom model?
Esperar quando tempo depois de pintar para passa o grafite?
