U r the first person ever who was smart enough to turn the idle down low enough to actually sound like it has a cam. I don't think it could go 1 rpm lower that was amazing. The best 2 minutes of my life! BTW, nice job.
Reminds me of early NASCAR race cars, when the actual car would be modified to race. Here's an actual pick-up truck built to be a old time Monster truck. How I long for the old days.
We all had one of these in high school. Got high and drank beers every morning. Heck! Our high school had a smoking room. Cheated on finals to get GED.
Amazingly done, wow man so cool to watch this video well done .... absolutely stunning awesomely piece of historic classic art from the most legendary pickup truck in history!
Love it. I think I'd personally go with a slightly less radical cam. Just slightly however...to attain a more constant idle. But it's yours and not mine. Good work!
Beautiful. Love seeing this beast slowly emerge from the garage. Ford all the way my man. It’s not all the way complete though? Just leaf springs? Looks amazing
Nah, the lobe separation just isn't that far apart. Not only does it sound cool but it produces a lot of low end torque too. It's the best of both worlds.
I feel like if I won a bunch of money I'd end up spending some stupid money on one of these. Bigfoot was a big deal in my childhood. Bigfoot vs Gravedigger was huge in the 80s. I'm a big fan of clean, big cube trucks. I'm a Ford fan. The OG Bigfoot checks alot of boxes for me.
I used to have the mote control to shut off the engines back in the nineties at rosemont arena in Illinois if the trucks crashed the real big foot and the other big boys were there
I thought so. First I ever saw of that truck was in the movie Take this job. Think I was around 12 at the time. I use to love the old steel bodied trucks. Pretty much lost interest when they went plastic. My absolute old favorite truck was Cyclops. Had the big skinny tractor tires. Loved it. It wasn't like all the others that were coming out.
DaTrUtHhUrTsDoNtIt Well I've never been a Ford guy myself but I do have respect for talented individuals who could pull off a build like this. It's not like a car with a flash paint job and some fancy interior. I'm a builder myself so I fully understand the work involved. Good job my friend. Any other trucks in the future ?
This is an old video it’s gone through a few changes and there are a few more to come. Check out the other videos and keep up to date with it. Thanks!!
ok thanks will do , question . . . , Dude , are you using a seperate power steering pump for the back steering ? I got a 1974 f250 a rustin and need to give it a resurection but with the money situation be lucky to just get roof over it as a next move , just hope to TLC it for now.Tnx !😃🔩🔧🔨🚙🇺🇸 🎉
A lot of people use an electric over hydraulic pump for the rear but I run the rear and front off the same pump. It’s a cheaper setup but it works and I’ve never had a problem with it. Work good!
@@TheBigfootMonsterTruckClones when I was in 1st grade bug foot came to my school. Not with the big wheels. Someone at my school was related to them. You should see bigfoot four. You can stand inside the wheel wells.
Couldn’t make a deal with monster jam. They are running the monster X shows and just started with hot wheels again this year. I’m not sure there schedule.
Absolutely love it! Old school build; can't beat it.
Man, I don’t know why these trucks aren’t featured in movies like Fast and furious, Bad boys etc. they look and sound amazing!

Most epic cam action ever in the history of RUclips...I think there was coffee break taken in between one of the lopes..seriously 😧

What a MONSTER CAM... very nice truck. You must have a mechanical Advance distributor and a really huge brake booster.

This beautiful beast purrs like a dragon! What a majestic monster. Love it man!
Thanks! It’s been a Labor of Love!
Time to go mud bogging
I want a big foot
Sounds like a Big ole Grizzly bear coming out of his den
Very Impressive !!!
Bob Chandler would approve.
Beautiful truck. Back when modified meant more than chrome wheels and exhaust tips.
Micah Moore , now everyone has black wheels.
AWESOME!!! BROUGHT BACK LOTS OF MEMORIES! The thumbnail says it's a 77 tho. The headlights were round on a 77
It is a 77. Had a nose job
Some are square with different trim levels
Listen to that chop , music to my ears .
Man if that doesn’t bring a smile to your face ears wide and a tear to your eye you ain’t alive
LOVE that color blue. I'm torn between that gen or bull-nose gen being my favorite Big Foot. That's a beautiful replica
We all had one of these in high school. Got high and drank beers every morning. Heck! Our high school had a smoking room. Cheated on finals to get GED.
Definitely got the correct 3 hole/Tri-blade wheels!
Old school cool...very /very cool

Well thanks! It’s been a labor of love.
You know they are keeping it real when there are old toilets sitting outside the shop door!! LOL
😂
holy shit!!! it's the truck of my dreams
Not bad coming from a bowtie guy. I really dig the old fords and Chevy's and dodge's. Real trucks!
I am not a Ford fan but bidfoot rocks. I've always loved it
Love it. I think I'd personally go with a slightly less radical cam. Just slightly however...to attain a more constant idle. But it's yours and not mine. Good work!
It had the ideal turned down too low when this was shot. Check out the newer videos that have been posted and you can see everything is running great.
Seriously though, nicest truck I seen on here so far.
Thanks!!
Beautiful. Love seeing this beast slowly emerge from the garage. Ford all the way my man. It’s not all the way complete though? Just leaf springs? Looks amazing
Still it is a great off-roader with the original one with big wheels!

Is there something wrong with giving it some throttle for gods sake
Sweet ride! But it sounds like its idling on 2 rpm XD
Yep. Cool truck man. :)
Nice restoration.

When you run the 48" Goodyears, anyway you can run them street legal?
Good luck on making it to the next gas station!!
8 or 9 beers and that truck would be a grand ole time
*8 or 9 beers and that truck would be a grand ole funeral
Gorgeous truck. What size tire you running? 46?
46” Mickey Thompson claws right now but will be running the 48” Goodyear’s soon.
Looks more like a 1979 F-250 nice truck
It’s a 77 with 79 grille.
@@TheBigfootMonsterTruckClones the reason I pointed it out cuz I owned a 76 with a 79 front grill.
It's starving for fuel idle it up on a cam that size

I want one
Need to set that idle up some.
Cool truck dude,. n the shitters are a great touch.
🤣
Beautiful truck. Great job!
Good God what a Cam
When you know!! Ya Show!!!
Was just wondering what kind of tires the truck has on in the video. They looks awesome.
They are 46” Mickey Thompson claws. I’m getting wheels ready now for a set of Goodyear’s 48” terra tires. I’m probably going to sell the claws soon.
Thanks for answering my question. :)

Yeah I didn’t have a bunch of money but built it anyway. I don’t have a wife or kids so my trucks are my wife and kids.

Jesus Christ turn that idle up!
nice tribute

U know what nice about independent 4 wheel steering u can at a 45 degree angle
idle needs to be set a tad higher.. trying to make it lope and don't sound good.
Read the rest of the comments and check the newer videos.
Hi boy plants to the left nice ford ASD Durr Burger
Well that's the nastiest cam i've ever heard
I'm trying to remember that far back but my memory is getting cloudy.... Did the original truck have Rockwell's in it ?
Yes started out with 2.5 then went to 5 tons later.

Omg one nice ride
Should put loud gear drive to simulate the loud blower sound like the real bigfoot. Lol
It has a blower.

I'm from florissant Missouri. Bigfoot head quarters was 5 miles from my house.
That must have been a dream come true. We hardly ever got to see Bigfoot here in Mississippi.

what would sound like that truck go for and would you ever sell it please let me know
I really don’t know. It would have to be a ridiculous number for me to consider it.
DaTrUtHhUrTsDoNtIt do you still have it what size tires are on that day and is it street legal
It has the 46” MT claws on it. It still does. I’m hoping to have the 48s on before the end of September
Yes it is street legal in Mississippi
DaTrUtHhUrTsDoNtIt I would love to drive that down to my town in Connecticut that is one bad ass truck
What is the name for these wheels?
Hey champ are you able to give the list of stuff that's been done to engine and trans. Cam specs etc
Guess not.
You need an ARIES electric 2 step down side rail.
I rode in 4 in the eighties
Looks like a 78...
Still thats one bad ass truck!
It’s a 77. I gave it a nose job
More movies please 👌
Been busy. I’ll try to get on that this coming week. Thanks for watching!!
What kind of wheels?
They were made by Blue Torch Fab. Centers cut and welded into the wheels
Are the Kc lights on the roll bar wired? If so, how did you do it?
They are wired. Two are to one switch and 3 are to a second switch.
Anybody have any advice on wiring 5 Kc lights on roll bar like this? Thanks in advance
Haha timing set way low..lopes are killing me in suspense
I love it
