      Dude, he don't want to talk deep with Pat. Joe has spent his life on himself and his accomplishments. Pat gave his life to his country and its honor was his service and accomplishments. When you compare the two, Joe comes up lacking where it really counts, inside.
      But for what he does , Joe is great for translating to the brah culture.

      @@badgrfan1256 warmup is different for everyone . Someone who's working set is 35lb obv wouldn't warmup with 35lb ...more like 10lb... but someone who a working set would be like 80-100lb would find a 35lb kettle bell a fine warmup .

      IAK2000 Eh It depends. I'm a believer that you're never too good to start with the 3 lb dumbbells, 12 pound olympic dumbbell handles, empty barbells or light kettlebells for warmup.

      @@TheDoorspook11c I got to work alongside TITAN/L-3 folks as a 'terp (since ex SOF dudes like TMAC, and totally included more SMU-type vets doing PSD for this TITAN offshoot in Baja who had NO Spanish, just Farsi/Dari/Arabic/Pashtu/etc.. a lot more of these guys than one would think if youre a lowly civ like me) but I spent hours on the road as a trunk monkey & terp w/these guys, and they'd show me videos (this was a decade ago now) of Pat doing Glock AND tons of 1911 drills at crazy distances for sidearms! I couldn't believe it...*I had no clue he was a Green dude who'd done CNOS "cloak and dagger" stuff and still was, yet videos were out there of him running BCM and Troy prototpe AR uppers, especially cool to see him train up a bunch of, what are now called the Army AWG lol, on such crazy uniquely innovative drills for ALL these diff types of engagements all over the spectrum* You didn't miss him competing at a shoot, this guy will be 90 yrs old doing it all over the country, from what I understand. He's not "too cool school" or "too high speed" in mindset to stop doing events just for those who follow him I think.

      CeNoTiX Gaming when you hunt deer you have to buy a tag to take certain animal. For example, if you have a buck tag you are allowed to kill one buck. If you have a buck tag and a doe tag, you can take one buck and one doe. You buy them in addition to a hunting license.

      The505Guys, with all due respect, fuck “find what you’re passionate about” right now. The odds of you being good enough to make that into a viable way of making a sustainable income is practically zero. Pat Mac has 22 years of experience in real world training and application.
      HOWEVER, Pat said it himself, the way to find meaning in your life is to go do something bigger than yourself.
      As Jordan Peterson says, go do something that makes your miserable existence worth the sacrifice that you’re making.
      I have found in my life that means going and doing important things for those around you and those that cannot do for themselves.
      That doesn’t mean huge things. It means important things. Things that improve a person’s life. Usually that means small things to you and I, but they are major things to those people.
      Do it quietly, with no desire to be paid or recognized for it, and I guarantee your life changes for the better.

    Joe, big respect on you channel man, im a 52 year old natural bodybuilder UK champion, I found Pat extremely interesting especially that he trains folks suffering with parkinsons as I also train my 76 year old farther who has Parkinsons disease.
    He struggles to walk now BUT when he carries heavy objects its like his mind forgets the parkinsons and he walks fine. Keep up the great work man and stay fit.

    Joe’s podcasts are by far the best. He has it dialed-in man. His content is always so well balanced and interesting. I’m a Pat fan so this particular episode was an easy listen but I swear sometimes I look down at the minutes and realize I’ve been listening an hour plus. Thanks Pat for sharing your story.     I only managed to get 2 hours of sleep last night but I needed to be somewhere important today. Even though my brain was foggy and I felt physical pain from my lack of sleep, it doesn’t even come close to the challenges guys like this have been through. Instead of giving in to feeling like crap I went for a run and a bike ride instead and it helped me make it through the day. So inspirational.

    I spent 20 years doing pc work at a desk and smoking and eating fast food every other day until I had a stroke ay age 38. Now I have quit smoking and fast food and have been working out to become my own style of body building, I have done this through 3 sets of broken ribs, hernia , inflamation of internal organs and I feel fantastic now.
