Hey mate, the idea is to keep your bank as close to zero as possible, without actually hitting zero. At the beginning of the game you have a large bank, so the idea is to mine gems furthest away to allow your bank to decrease faster. Later game once your bank is closer to zero, you've already mined the further gems, so your economy is much closer to the refineries making it more optimal late game
@xxxx85 partly mate. Any time building silos is wasted build time and power drain. However, in any RTS game the similar rules apply where in most cases you want to keep your resources as close to zero, because any money Sat in the bank not doing anything is just wasted. For example, if you build a extra ore truck and your eco is constantly high, the extra ore truck was a waste of money and production time which could've been tanks instead. If that makes sense mate
@@AOD_Gaming Hmm, that makes much less sense to me. 🤔 I think you are mixing up the reasons for keeping your money close to zero. If the bank space isn't an issue, just collecting the closest cash seems like the better way to go since it's better having the cash in your bank account than laying on the ground. Keeping your bank close to zero in RTSs is more a measurement of if you're doing your macro correct or not. It's positive to keep your bank close to zero because as you say then you're getting value out of the resources you've collected. But it's not like having a low bank is a self-serving goal, and collecting slower resources just to keep your bank close to zero would be better. I would understand if it was about silo space, but otherwise it doesn't make sense to me 😅😅
Awesome game!
I think this player hasn't experienced such humiliation in a long time...good game, keep up the good work!
This guy is rank 1 and more than often wrecks me in this game, I had luck on my side :D
@@AOD_Gaming awesome! if red alert has a service unit like Phil or Joe, use it to destroy that type of building next time!
@@AOD_Gaming 581 / 124 - he is a fake rank 1 player (a cool player, no dubt, but not the first). it the same as my third place of td ladder))
@ЮрийКорнилов-я6д what's your in game name on TD mate?
nice match
May I ask why you collect the furthest minerals first, instead of starting with the closest ones?

@@AOD_Gaming Oh okay! That kind of makes sense! Is that because in C&C you actually need to store your money in silos and refineries?

It's ok, it doesn't need to make sense mate 😉
Mining close by gems at the start is bad 😁
What is your longest match you ever had in the competitive scene?
I think on RA it's about 30 minutes, but that's very unusual 😅
@@AOD_Gaming And I would assume the fatigue after a game like that would be real
@@Rouxkat oh yes! 🤣
