Brilliant game !! What a pleasure to see those migs airfields destroyed after the destruction they caused to your base !! Best part of the game :-D Congratulations to succeed in such a game !! The final tank attack was crushing.
Thanks it was just about surviving the air strikes once I had that under control it was nit too bad. My opponents gad invested too much in navy and air so did not have the tanks to defend.
Cyan has seen your videos and knows he is not needed! 😂😂 They were just lucky there was those civs in the middle otherwise they'd have been wiped out quicker!
Here's a troll game idea - play this map but you can only use civilians. Meaning you'll need a mega economy and then need to keep building and selling your buildings to make the army...
i wonder if your team mate got done over by the civs? great game, aint seen you use air defence before. and he was routing the planes around your defence, but he didnt route them on the way back so they call got rocketed
I don't think he got done by the civs there was no sign of that. I think I had the civ entry point protected. I am not sure if players can route the planes when they return to the sir bases so may have been unavoidable. I might be wrong though I am no expert when it comes to mig mechanics.
@@ZacktheReaper i questioned myself then, so i just tested it, yeah after the migs shoot they still obey movement commands. they are best used with the group bind. i usually put them on 0. so you tell them to fly to the edge of the map first, when they get there i then click the target, so they come in from an angle that has less air defense, then once they shoot you can click them back to the edge again, where they came from. then send em home. You can send migs anywhere that isnt shroud, and if they got gap generators you can use the spy plane and quickly select the 0 group and click it, even though it goes black they still strike, did you also know you can land your migs on service depots? i used to build a couple next to my airfeilds so i can repair them before the next attack. 6 is enough to take down most buildings but I used to build groups of 8 so they still take down the building even if they take out 2 during the strike.
Thanks for your comment. I did play Red Alert 2 but that was a long time ago near when it first released. I do see that it has maintained a player base today though.
Still going thru the vids, made it back about 6 months now, haha! Making me want to buy a laptop to run this on! I reckon you’d get a good following on twitch if you haven’t already got one!
I have been on twitch before and have a channel but rarely stream. With RUclips I can play and do the voice separately which allows me to do better content. Also the room I play in is not the best when it comes to background noise. I change the room setup when I do voice overs for RUclips videos. I should really do kore twitch streams though.
@ you do what works buddy. I enjoy your details about what your strategy is, and it’s refreshing to not hear ‘trash talk’ while you’re playing. I’m seriously considering getting a pc up and running just to get it running. I only ever played tiberian sun and used to spam build banshees which were devastating. If I remember right You could stack them so on the map it looked like a single unit to the enemy even though you had 50+ haha.
I've been watching a lot of your videos and they are brilliant. It has been a long time since I played this game. Do you have a general ratio that you go for with different things? Like ore miners vs ore refineries, ore refineries vs war factories. It is not going to be perfect and different maps and strategies will require different things, but I imagine there is a sort of rule of thumb that can be applied and then adapted when needed. Something like get 3 ore miners operating from a single ore refinery and then by the time the second ore refinery is built it is time to build a second war factory. I picked up the entire C&C catalog for £10 last year. Playing through RA's single player again now. Need to look up the hot keys! I didn't even know them as a kid
Hard one to answer. Generally make sure there is not more than 3 ore trucks to one ore refinery else they can get stuck. For ore trucks to war factory production I think it would be something like 2.5 truck per war factory. If there are gems the map then fewer are needed. Sometimes players will produce 1-2 ore trucks as soon as they build an ore ref to keep up production. I often build 2 ore truck when I move onto 3rd war factory.

Another great video to enjoy on my lunch break! Nice to see the other team appreciating the skill there.

lol.

That is a very interesting concept. It depends what buildings I would be able to sell to get civs. I would then need to send over by helicopter.
@ Do it! And give me the requisite shout-out…! Would be an amazing win if you managed it

Love your videos. Do you play Red Alert 2
