I'm newbie here and try to practice handstand by leaning back against the wall then lifting my legs up without kicking. It works for the 1st time. 😂Thankfully, I really enjoy your videos. 👍👍
Love your videos! So I’m still working on my forward fold. I THINK I’m making progress. Some days are great and others feel restricted and tight. Bending the knees and making contact between your abdomen and tops of your thighs and then straightening your legs while maintaining contact seems to do a lot for me. My question is, are you actively engaging your core to pull yourself down or are you flexible enough that gravity lets you get that low? My goal is to press / float but it’s a real struggle to get palms on the floor with straight legs.
Great to hear you like the videos! I don’t think about using the core to pull deeper it’s more of a lengthening movement. Check out this video for hamstrings ruclips.net/video/3FSSe6wpbhE/видео.htmlsi=92t--z4xFetvffTN
I can do a Stalder eccentric with hands on floor, though my feet slide on the floor before I end up in the straddle L-sit. I can also do an almost-Stalder eccentric on parallettes, but have to bend my elbows on the way down, so it isn't really a Stalder, it is some kind of bent-arm press eccentric or something. Any idea how to fix this?
Yeah it’s tricky, I’d focus on Planche Press or low hip (hands elevated press) plus keep working straddle mobility, compression etc. check this video for the strength ruclips.net/video/NLwLDj8OBA8/видео.htmlsi=rXzVxJ5l5HSqzk26
