It's such a shame hearing how common it is for people to get purchase what they think will be a cool pet, without thinking or researching the maintenance that said creature will require for all its life, and isn't going to remain a cute small "insta-genic" animal, but will grow and need whatever it needs. Hearing that these guys find innocent creatures dumped at parking lots, or see things for sale at a mall where people can just buy as an impulse purchase, not knowing how or what they need to provide. Theres a saying I heard somewhere whilst looking for a new dog when mine passed on at 19 years old, it really stuck with me. "Remember that this creature will be a small part of your lifetime, but you will be ALL of his" That really puts it in perspective and should hopefully help people realise it's not just a photo partner for their socials, n it takes time, love/care, patience as well as dollar.
That was sweet. They have so many critters. You are lucky to be able to play or hold those animals. That sugar glider was my favorite. Thanks for sharing. You got a contagious smile.
