Such a wealth of experience and information! Best interview I have ever seen, especially as it is coming from one of the pillars of this extraordinary musical dynasty! Utterly brilliant!!! Thank you Musio and Mike Patti 👏🙏💓

Finding Musio has been a blessing. Now there's no reason for me not to pursue my cinematic music dreams. So biggest goal for me in 2024, release my first orchestral piece and build on that

Absolutely fantastic!!, and I also invested in your libraries. Good Job CineSamples. (Would love to go in person to hear the acoustics, and feel the vibe of the Newman's and the Herrmann and Goldsmith and J. Williams and the family of composers).

Introduction too long winded. I hope this won’t be the regular segue into these interviews.

David Newman is so very right. My video and research here tells more about the history beginning with Karol Rathaus. Among the reasons I stayed away from film composing is the negative effects of directors and editors having control over the process - they shouldn't. I am not sure how to change that. However the other problem is the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL) which is the only professional society that has a single level of membership - flat. There are no specialty areas and corresponding reach out to the buyers of media music. The result is the commodization of musical output and horrid pay structures. Just a really poorly run professional group. ruclips.net/video/1T8rqOFjT58/видео.htmlsi=FkaTWcQqneQFNRGp

He's replacing the legendary John Williams at Tanglewood tomorrow. Deciding if I should go. Bought the ticket for John Williams. A big let down and I really don't want to be disappointed.
