Hello, thank you for this video. It is very helpful as a new composer to find out the kind of deals out there. I am just starting and had a song bought by a library. I understand I have given up the copyright to the record company and according to the contract, they get to collect any sync fee as well. I will retain the writers share of any pro collected royalties. I thought trying to get a Sync song would at least get me part of the sync fee, but not in this case. I'm wondering, as a new composer, how do you then get your name out there? If no sync fee is collected, and your name is not even on the song in the library, then how do you keep climbing the ladder? Is the game then just trying to place more stuff into libraries and hoping they get placed so that you get some pro royalties? Thank you very much for sharing.

Great question. I'd like to know the answer myself.
