Out of all the Warhammer battle reports and matches I've watched I like these the most. Watching a 2 hour video or a 4 hour stream is just too much most of the time. A nice sub-60 minutes video is perfect.

Those Sisters of Battle are cool. That's what makes Warhammer unique. The lore is so vast that you can do stuff like this and it's legal for play because it probably has happened at some point in the universe.

As a Sisters player, I was pestered whenever the good doctor was using two miracle dice for saves. That's not allowed, you can only perform one act of faith per phase. Batch rolling doesn't make the batch of saves into one roll, mechanically, they're still separate. So, twice in game to save pivotal characters mistakes were made.
Absolutely correct, still learning this faction, pretty new to 40k overall still. Thanks for the catch!
@@drrhino_ I made the mistake too when I started Sisters back in 8th. But, by the same front, there's also a trick you can do with batch rolling.
If you think you may need a miracle dice, or it's a pivotal roll, roll all but 1 of the dice in the batch. Then determine the situation and decide if you need that dice at the end, since it's not a commital action.

Yeah...people are wrong. If you take the standard Bloody Rose list out of the Sisters stats they drop like a lead balloon. I'll change my mind when people start winning regularly with other orders.
Also necrons and death guard benefit the most alongside if not more than sisters. Plague marines can deploy with free wargear that will make them extremely devastating in melee alongside cheaper terminators and on the necron side, their deathmarks and HQs got cheaper which is a massive boon since necron characters were some of the most expensive in the game besides tyranids i think
I think if the Stormtroopers can be used as proxies for guardsmen, that'd be a good way to shoehorn Stormtrooper Steve in.

Love this match. Two of my favorite factions going at it, especially with how the Sisters look. This was a seriously chaotic match.
I watch one battle a day from whatever channel. This was the best one I have seen. Not te best one I've seen this year, or whatever. No qualifiers. Best one I have seen.
Man, Tycho has the most infectious laugh! He must be a joy to play with because he's fantastic to watch. I love his attitude.
And Rhino's Punk Rock Sisters is the COOLEST THING I have ever seen. HOLY HELL I want to make a custom army like that some day.

That was the most metal game not to have Chaos or Dark Eldar.
And such a cinematic ending with Celestine carving through a horde of Tyranids. Happy to see the Sisters win on the channel.
Feel like those failed charges and psychic powers in that very first round could've resulted in a win for the bugs had they succeeded. Loved the painting of the minis and the good sportsmanship between these two. Great game, and wonderful to have you back, JT!

I’d love to take my “Motörhead” Ork Speed Waggh up against the Punk Rock Sisters. The lore behind my army is they were speedfreaks who happened to find a downed imperial ship that was full of ancient Humie artifacts. Weird black and shiny discs. But the pictures on the paper parts seem to spark intrigue, those ancient Humies were waaaaaay more brutal than the hat wearing Humies they got now…what happened?.. Well they managed to figure out how they work and we’re thrilled at what secrets they held. The sickest riffs and most brutal beats. It sparked something in the Boyz of the speedwagh especially when they heard this strange song called “Motörhead” the song that seemed to fill them with a need to get rowdy, the need to go FAST! The entire Waggh was so moved by these sounds from the “Black Discs” that they apply named their War Band “The Motörheads”, and they even designed a way to broadcast it to all of their Tukks, Buggies, and Battlewagons. The “Rok an Roll” as they call it, is controlled by a chosen Weird Boy who is given the title “Electric Wizard” and he uses the power of the Waggh to boost the signal to all the Boyz as they Tear the ground around them to pieces.
TLDR: Heavy Metal Orks who name themselves and their things after Rock/Metal Bands/Songs.

excellent production as always
a few things:
- The Canoness has a large number of possible options so a line or two as to how she was kitted out would have been appreciated
- you can't substitute 2 miracle dice for saves on one unit - each saving throw roll substituted is an Act of Faith and AoFs are limited to 1/unit/phase (barring the Simulacrum Imperialis)
- I was listening for it but I didn't hear which Sacred Rite the Sisters took or, importantly, what the Order Convictions of the Iron Maidens are!
Yeah, was coming to the comments to find that too. I'm pretty sure its a custom Order, but I was trying to find the convictions. As for the Sacred Rites, not sure either, just assumed it was the Purity one to avoid the casting and since the casters were killed early we didn't see it? (edit: nope, he said he needed a 6 not a 5+)... hmm... so we know its not Hand, Spirit, Aegis, or Light... so only can be Guidance or Passion...
Great Catch on the misplay with the miracle dice, im actually still fairly new to the army so thanks for pointing that out! as far as the canoness goes she was pretty simple just Blessed Blade, Inferno pistol, Relic: Iron Surplice of Saint Istaela. and i was running the army as Argent Shroud with the Divine Guidance Sacred Rite

@@drrhino_ Oh, so I was able to deduce almost the Sacred Rite, but I assumed it would be a custom Order, but now that you said Argent Shroud I can see it when you advanced everyone and still shot. I wasn't paying close enough attention to what was shot, just assumed they were assault weapons.
I did enjoy it. Was nice to see stuff that I don't run. I love my Zephyrim and Seraphim, so no Doms for me. I also run Repentia and their Sup. I have a single squad of Nundams just cuz I like them, they have the rockets instead of the storm bolter. I did want to see more of the Sacresants, but they died way too fast.
I did like the damage that the meltas did, 14 damage in 1 turn was really nice. Good job!
And you know why you beat those Xenos, right? It's because.... The Emperor Protects!

I'm at turn 4, I find myself torn. Nids were my first models long ago when I was young but my growing love for non Astartes Humans means I cry Come on SISTERS. An epic fight to be sure.

That is straight up the best looking custom army I've ever seen painted. Not just sisters, that beats everything. I would pay many units of money for a duplicate of that army.

The bugs came 2 Minutes to Midnight. I wanted to Run to the Hills but us Sisters have no Fear of the Dark for we have trained, no Wasted Years towards our Emperor, Hallowed be Thy Name. The Tyranids came at us with a Dance of Death, we held the line but we wondered is The Writing on the Wall? Naw, Our head sister screams, ''Be quick or be Dead!'' and we raged For the Greater Good of God, our Flight of Icarus had begun, Brighter than a Thousand Suns we will bring Judgement Day or come undone.
We were no Strangers in a Strange Land for we were Sisters of the Imperium and we had a Burning Ambition to be Coming Home but as the battle raged, as our Trooper's fell, Revelations began to dawn on us, our morale began to come low for even though we rained Hell on Earth it was not enough to survive the Longest Day and though we gave as good as we got we drowned beneath the Sea of Madness that was the horde of Tyranids, Running Free bearing the Number of the Beast onto this Brave New World, we fail in our Darkest Hour but at least we Die with our Boots on.
All that we ask is that you remember us, our sacrifice, Remember Tomorrow, remember where Eagles Dare we dared, we came to Tame a Land of the bugs with our Sun and Steel only to die in a Strange World. When the River runs Deep with our dead foes, When the Wild Wind Blows with the exultations of our Emperor, When Worlds Collide our foes will be unable to pick up the pieces, than and only than will we Women in Uniform have our vengeance upon all foes of the Imperium.
