First song I ever played with a band at college. Remember it blasting on repeat in my sister's room as a kid. People look at me strange when I say this is in my top five favourite songs of all time. The lyrics are a masterpiece.
This song hit me like a ton of bricks when I was 16, it will NEVER get old. It's got the sound for any year. I first heard it on a levis advert... I think? Anyone know if I'm correct on that? Just discovered Ray Wilsons 'Take It Slow' just knocks my socks off everytime I hear it. His voice is top notch, just to my liking, along with many others of course😁
Some things just get better with age! Amazing version of one of my favourite songs ever. Ray you nailed it, love the rich tones. Rest of the guys played this so well, bass has a lovely tone. And the strings just add a stamp of authenticity to this iconic masterpiece 👏👏👏👏
