My goodness, this is so impressive fishing. I just love Mrs, Mud Crabs and Nikki's Barra. I have dreamt of getting up to the Kimberly's so many times, that it's made me unwell at times.
I managed to get up to the Sir Edward Pellow Group of Islands for 3 months 2011 and 4 months 2013 to Groote Eylandt, the Gulf of Carpentaria NT. At 72 years of age I am running out of time. I am planning on four months this Dry Season 2024, taking my 8.3M sleep aboard and 3.6M drag along tunnies going by my self just like the last two trips. Only draw back is I got very lonely at times. My wife has been crippled for 38 years and disables proper for several of those years now. My wife can't swim and is terrified of boating.
I hope to leave home mid June to drive the same way up through the centre, turn right at Daily Waters towards Borroloola; to King Ash Bay. Cheers

@@pkayyyy472 I would love to meet up for a beer or a fish; if I was going to the top of WA. I will be some 1,000 Kms to the East of Gibb, in the Gulf of Carpentaria, sailing around the Sir Edward Pellow group of Islands and then sailing up to the northern parts of Groote Eylandt, like I did in 2013.

Getting tonnes of value as I am an Aussie landlocked in london so thud is giving me what I am missing but get to share you guys doing what I love. Btw, I have camped all over aus and that was the perfect camping spot. That spot would be used every year by me if I found it and would be my base camp for a few k’s each way. I cannot believe you let the second big dog go! I would have been smashing him for breakfast!

The streams aren’t polluted so ifs fine to drink

How do you guys stay hydrated though out the weeks? I don't see you going out with mass amounts of water. Do you have a salination pump to remove salinity from the water.
Just stock up when we can from creeks. And we also take hydration tablets. Its A LOT hotter than it looks
@BacktoBasics yes l have lived in both Darwin and Port Hedland and done horizontal falls back in 2016. Humidity kills me, but loved the fishing and winter's. Still work out of Port Hedland. Cheers for your reply mate. Keep on keeping on and living your best life.
