Plus they were being pressured by their record company to make more cookie cutter songs for radio play. Jonathan, Munky, and Head have all said in interviews this is their least favorite album. Ironically, this is one of the only songs on the album they like, because this was a middle finger to their record company telling them they wanted a clean single.
